Good Guy Bad Guy

Educating a child is not that easy, when I find that if my daughter's father scolds her for something wrong, she will cry and come to me for comfort, but if I do it, then she will come to ask for my forgiveness.

So I asked her father not to scold her any more and let me play the bad guy and he plays the good guy, which worked well in the past few months, and they were getting along with each other well and my daughter will also listen to me if I play the bad guy "threatening" to hit her -_-

But today I really spank her as she wet the bed on purpose as I asked her several times to go to toilet and so did her father, on the contrary, she would not go. She had already wet the bed so many times. Recently, we always kept her to go to toilet in some certain times.

She lived too freestyle now, and I cannot think of better ways to communicate with her about this any more, hope it can make her remember she will receive punishment as well for bad behaviors. Of course, I will find some better solutions instead of being a bad parent. -_-
