[ENG/ESP] State of Entitlement || Inequalities are Fair?

(Edited)

Everyone dreams of a fairer world, but in the name of what? Of equality? Recognition? Respect for autonomy? In reality, the principles of justice are not without contradiction. Everyone wants more justice, but based on different principles, contradictory concepts.

Many times we claim to have the right to obtain rewards, nothing is further from the truth. Curators cannot vote for the thousands of posts that daily, weekly or monthly make life in Hive. They are also under no obligation to do so. They simply fulfill their role just as we fulfill our role of creating content to keep the platform alive with both parties.

We make different mistakes when we are connected to Hive, such as comparing ourselves with other users incorrectly. Things from which we do not get anything good, simply an unnecessary waste of energy that we can use to be better in what is within our reach and control. Remember the vote is not guaranteed in any way.

I found it interesting "those who say they are here not for the money abstain." It's an ironically part keeps us here, and one of the biggest differences from other platforms. But it is a mistake to do things with your hands and have your mind clouded with Hive's money. Again the irony to say that it is much more likely that reality will differ from your expectation and get unwanted results.

Now, and this is one of the things that I have been mentalizing for a long time; if you do things with good attitude, patience, perseverance and intelligence, you can achieve much more.

Although being here is a job, remember and keep in mind that we are not employees and we dont have any contract with Hive that endorses such it to demand rights or bosses who demand our duties. Except in curatorial projects where they do have their duties, commitments assigned by their leaders and responsibility in general with the work that was assigned to them to give support in the community in general. Otherwise, all of us here dedicate ourselves to doing what we like and what we know how to do, what is within our possibilities and for as long as we want to be, it's a personal commitment.

Many times we receive low rewards in our posts and jobs in which we strive, but in some of those same publications we receive very gratifying comments praising and liking our work, which greatly reduces the "negative" weight of having received a low reward since paradoxically increases self-esteem, which motivates you to continue doing well and improving. Try to see the positive result

If I had the power to change some things for the improvement of the platform, it would be things like whales, leaders with delegations, when voting or curating posts, they review the content in the appropriate way or adjusted to some basic rules. I've seen, and this from an objective point of view, that in several posts they don't take into account the bad spelling with which they are written, lack of sources, effort and dedication, and they still obtain cures and rewards, and sometimes exuberant if we see the avg. They copy and paste articles from the internet or other users and don't place the source or the original author (plagiarism detected), etc.

It's not bad to support new creators or creators who already have time on the page, that is what it is about. I mean, I think is wrong is not to let them know their mistakes. I mean, we can all receive constructive criticism, ultimately it is for our benefit and improvement. That really discourages those who make the point of writing with high quality, although we return to the subject of comparisons, but it's inevitable to emphasize that point.

Another point is the embezzlement of votes from people with high delegations. Although it's not an obligation to vote or curate everything here, there are people and projects that are receiving delegations with instructions to do the work of curating quality content in different areas or one in specific, or to create and maintain their projects, which They are to support content creators in general, which is why many users who break their asses to do their best, who in different ways promote and help the growth of Hive, and undervalued content that if we go to meritocracy will they deserve that vote that on many occasions they finally misrepresent for their own convenience and benefit. And finally the use and abuse with the multi-accounts to squeeze the honey from the hive.

We have a great platform in constant evolution, with great projects and initiatives already created, and others emerging, as well as new users joining day- day. If you come alone and blinded by money, I invite you a coffee and I invite you to read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter. If you come with an open mind, with initiatives, intelligence and strategies, courage to take action and with a view to growing and improving personally, you will have already taken a huge step to be successful.
