[Crypto Shots] Game Review : Uprising Gamer

There is always a start to everything we think of doing. I have never played any games on this hive blockchain even splinterland. I was on #ocd server in discord when the information was dropped and I decided to check it out.

A FREE game??

I mumbled to myself...yaay! a trial would convince me I guess.

This is an opportunity to get into the gaming space in #hive blockchain. A novice like me would ultimately get obsessed with it and the device used in exploring this would be a mobile phone because I get all comfy with it.

I opened the link for the free game mode and I discovered it took me almost thirty minutes waiting for it to load (still loading), I scrolled down to the bottom of the page and read a disclaimer note indicating that the game should be played on a Firefox browser to allow it run faster and smooth because it's a 3D game.

Apparently, I have three browsers (Opera Mini, Safari, and Chrome) so I had to download Firefox browser to see the outcome of it... I downloaded it and copied the link to the browser and I am still waiting for it to load. Subsequently, after waiting I tried something. I switched from the mobile site to the desktop site and boom it started loading immediately...A hint in case!

At first, it started with the cursor panel moving when pressured and then I anticipated the next screen! Haha OMG!! I love the spooky background music, the ambient mixture of gold and black background wallpaper, and the sharp-click sound, that reminds me of Halloween, and what's that gushing air sound??...creepy!! hehe!

I noticed when I was playing it, it was lagging. I had no freedom to play it very well maybe because it's a mobile, not a PC. Although I have a computer, it developed faulty and serious glitches towards the end of September. Fixing it requires a certain amount of money which I am not in a position of right now. Hopefully, I might get a new one as soon as possible because there's a great need for it. I mistakenly locked my phone screen and by the time I opened the browser, I saw error messages like morse codes. That's the screenshot below.

I continued with my crypto shots game after it had loaded afresh... I must say it's very interesting, haha... it's been ages since I played a game like this. I would also admit that I was defeated three times in a row... _giggling...

It took me a while to discover that I must economize my ammunition and uncover weapons to finish the level. I was able to shoot down one drone and a weapon appeared afterward. No ammunition refills?? Seriously??... I was defeated countless times and a few times it shoots nonstop...so I try hard to make an effort to make each shot count but obviously, I wasn't meant to win.🫣😅...Lessons learned!!

I'm sure this crypto shots game is still in the demo mode and the devs behind this are doing a completely tremendous job to keep this going. After I exhausted my free mode, I ran out of options to play and I clicked on the "medium" toggle button and it took me to the medium level of the game which is semi-difficult to continue.

I decided to check out the bottom of the crypto shots game menu where the hive logo is displayed and I clicked it, the section for the " play to earn " mode and I logged in with my keychain extension browser to explore further how it looks or better still works.

You know that tiny curiosity pushing you to try it out??...yep that's it!!

I couldn't find more things to explore there probably because its features are limited to mobile and better off on PC, so I took a few screenshots of it.
