Welcome To My Blog Again!

[No 4, 16th/1/23]

Waking up last Sunday morning with the feeling of having lunch in a friend's house grew enthusiastic, well I had to go for a church service. This nostalgic craving was a result of the continuous repetition of junk foods to an extent that I can taste the aroma of those meals.

Upon arriving home, my elder brother suggested we have that same odd meal and I rebuked the suggestion of making that same junk meal. I opted for the opinion that we should hang out with a family friend he had known for years. After slight reflection, he picked up his phone to dial that family friend, and a cool conversation took place between them.

I trusted my instincts and I knew it could work out. And yes! It came into actuality. The preparations to visit him began precisely after that call and one thing was certain for us upon arrival. He phoned my elder brother back to let him know we are going to hang out someplace different from home and urged both of us to appear stunning and smart. With that excitement of hanging out everything hastened.

Fast forward to when we got to his apartment, he introduced his fiancee to us and we exchanged pleasantries. She made her way to the kitchen and served us boiled white rice and freshly made tomato stew with steamed meat. My eyes had already consumed the food before eating lmao because I was so famished. Sometimes, I get tired of eating my meal and whenever I taste someone's food, I feel like I am consuming a different meal. I ate a lot whew!😅 And I felt satisfied.

At the moment we were eating they were busy getting prepped for the hangout, so immediately we rounded up the meal we joined them but then the location was not disclosed and I was so curious. I knew it was around festac though but the precise place is what I can't fathom. My question was repeated several times and the curiosity of whether it was a bar, lounge, eatery, or a park wasn't answered so I kept mute and ta-da it's an eatery.

I felt elated when we got inside to get Coldstone ice cream and a family pizza! But before then random pictures were taken with my phone and my brother's so basically we were the photographers' 😂😂 ... It was entertaining all through with all the jokes thrown at each other. The outing was inspired by the intending couples and they both shared an affectionate passion for taking pictures. I was like... God when oh! ... This attack is too much lol Hopefully, we will be having a wedding soon!

After having those nice little treats, I suggested we go to the shopping mall at Diamond Estate in Festac to stroll around and take pictures. They agreed in unison because the previous place we left was quite boring and they needed to feel the atmosphere, not some buy and go and thing. Arriving at the shopping mall, ShopRite was the place we entered not because they wanted to get things but because they wished to walk around, take pictures and get some cocktail canned juice.

Left home around 4:03 to our first destination and then to the second destination, until it was time to go home at 6:30. Apparently, we spent almost two hours plus, and with that little time spent I felt so damn good. It was satisfying, blissful, and entertaining. The festive merriment that wasn't spent at all I got it all in one this previous Sunday.
