Sails, Smiles & Good Times: A Day on the Water with Friends 🛥🌊

I’m happy to share with you a memorable summer day we spent sailing with friends. My husband’s best friend owns a yacht, and he invited us to join him for a day of sailing.

We went in the afternoon while the sun was shining brightly. Before leaving, we prepared everything we needed to bring with us and, of course, we didn’t forget the beers to enjoy along the way!

We rode our bikes to the island where the yacht was docked. It was a lovely way to start our little sailing adventure.

Before we went sailing, we stopped at a beer garden for a drink first. We had a few glasses of Weißbier, along with my favorite dish—chicken with Kartoffelsalat. It was the perfect way to relax and enjoy the afternoon before heading out onto the water.

After having a few drinks, we decided it was time to head to the boat. I waited on the side while the others prepared everything. They removed the boat cover and the buoys, getting the boat ready for our sailing adventure.

Once everything was ready, we all climbed aboard and placed our things inside. Finally, we were ready to set sail!

As usual, we had big smiles on our faces as soon as we started sailing. There’s something so special about being out on the water with good friends. We enjoyed the beautiful views of Lake Constance and the stunning scenery all around us. The peaceful water, sunshine, and breathtaking surroundings made the day even more memorable.

At the beginning, we moved slowly as we carefully made our way out onto the lake. Once everything was ready and we were in open water, they picked up the speed and headed toward the spot where we planned to swim. We were all excited to get there, have a swim, and enjoy a fun day together on the lake.

While sailing, we enjoyed the beautiful lake, the refreshing breeze, and the water splashing around us. After a few minutes, we reached the perfect spot for swimming. They anchored the boat, turned on the music, and opened a few bottles of beer. It was time to relax, have fun, and enjoy the beautiful summer day together!

The fun really started once everything was set. Each of us had a bottle of beer in hand as we relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful views around us. The water felt cold and refreshing, which was perfect for the hot summer weather as we soaked up the sunshine.

Then, suddenly, everyone jumped into the water! It was such a fun and refreshing moment, and we couldn’t stop laughing and enjoying ourselves.

It was so much fun because it’s also the first time of Sophia the baby of Rico (my husband best friend) to be on the boat.

Until sunset we were there enjoying the weather and the company of each other. What a wonderful weekend we had I must say.
