Mountain Hike Training with the presence of Fire
I tell you that I resumed training, after having used it on the walk to the Holy Sepulchre, decided to rest for two days, since I was left with a lot of muscle pain and incidentally the shoes gave me several blisters on my feet, this did not happen to me when I participated in the mountain walk of La Colonia Tovar. I think it was sore because the walk was a speed route, where we had a dirt and asphalt road, that is, a varied terrain on this route, more than anything, it was more demanding due to the speed implemented in the walk.
It should be noted that I left for my training at 4:30 pm, the weather was a bit hot, and a bit of smoke was seen on the mountain, I don't know if it is dust from the Sahara that is coming out or something that is burning, and the smoke covers part of the mountain. On the first climb, arriving at the cross, I met a walker and we climbed along this first part of the route. I thought to reach the towers, climbing at an easy pace to recover from muscle pain.
After having used it in a running or walking competition, it is advisable to rest for one or two days, which will serve for recovery and when you resume exercise, do it gently to restore normality to the muscles in the legs. In the first part, when I reached the cross, I had a time of 10 minutes, I still felt muscle pain, but with the rest of the two days it helped me to recover a bit.
In this training I increased the speed a little to keep close to the other walker, we reached the third hill in a time of 20 minutes, where the bars are, there I could see a little how the smoke was around the mountain but the breeze was in the opposite direction and did not affect anything. Once I got here, my pet was left behind a bit, and did not continue with me. I started to go down but I was already getting close to the place where the mountain was burning, and I could hear the sound of the fire that was devouring the mountain, the hiker who was ahead continued his journey but for safety reasons I turned back to avoid any kind of of accident.
Now when we are training in the mountains and a fire breaks out, it is best to go back even though the fire was on the other side due to the direction of the wind, but if this direction changes you could be in danger, so it is best to avoid any inconvenience in training.
I went back and found my pet on the third ascent, who was resting a bit with a friend who was doing exercises on the bars, I gave him some water, and we began to go down again to the house, doing a time of 1 hour with six minutes.
