Un saludo a toda la comunidad de @actift. Indudablemente la cultura africana a dejado huella en Cuba, por eso en esta ocasión les traigo un fragmento de eltoque.com sobre este interesante tema.

**Una exposición del artista cubano Juan Roberto Diago se expone en el Lowe Art Museum, de Miami, hasta mediados de enero de 2020.
Diago: The Pasts of this Afro-Cuban Present, da cuenta de la persistencia del racismo en la Cuba de hoy, la "marginación sutil, subrepticia, a veces oculta, que permanece aún latente en la sociedad cubana".
“Antes porque éramos esclavos, esclavizados por un amo, por un sistema de producción de esa época, y hoy esclavizados por los problemas que generó todo ese inicio, que se mantiene. Seguimos siendo una población preterida, lo mismo en Cuba que en Estados Unidos”, declaró el artista en el contexto inaugural de la exposición, a inicios de noviembre.
