Practice 1

Greetings to all handicraft lovers! I welcome you once again to my workshop DC DIY. Today I'm sharing with you a new doodle I've made as a fan art of popular game type logo in perspective. I hope you will join me in the step by step creative process.

For this project I used 40 weight cardboard, pencil, black gel pen 0.5 point, black fine tip marker, olive green acrylic paint.

I started by making a circle on the sheet that would be my base. This is the first time I have used this kind of technique and I was a bit nervous about getting lost in the process. I had to simulate that the squiggles were going from the outside to the inside and in the dark background was the Splinterland logo.

Once I had made the ring of uneven circles, I started making small rings, each smaller than the last until I got to what would be the background.

I made strokes with the pen to give it shape and between the rings I painted black with the marker.

In the centre of the background I made the fangs of the Splinterland logo and painted the whole outline black.

After the drawing was done I wanted to add some colour to the border, with the olive green paint I covered the outline.

To finish I made some free zentangle strokes. This is how this Doodle of the Splinterland logo looked like.

This has been my first perspective practice. I'm satisfied with the result and I hope you like it. I will keep practising to improve every day.

Garabateando el logo de Splinterland en perspectiva

Práctica 1

¡Saludos a todos los amantes de las artes manuales! Les doy la bienvenida una vez más a mi taller Bricolaje DC. Hoy les comparto un nuevo garabato que he hecho como un fan art de popular logo tipo del juego en perspectiva. Espero que me acompañen en el paso a paso del proceso creativo.

Para este proyecto utilicé cartulina de gramaje 40, lápiz, bolígrafo de gel color negro punta 0.5, marcador punta fina de color negro, pintura acrílica de color verde oliva.

Comencé haciendo un círculo en la hoja que sería mi base. Es la primera vez que aplico este tipo de técnica y estaba un poco nerviosa por perderme en el proceso. Debía simular que los garabatos iban de afuera hacia adentro y en el fondo oscuro estaba el logo de Splinterland.

Una vez que hice el aro de círculos disparejos, comencé a hacer anillos pequeños, cada uno más pequeño que el anterior hasta llegar a lo que sería el fondo.

Hice trazos con el bolígrafo para darle forma y entre los anillos pinté de color negro con el marcador.

En el centro del fondo hice los colmillos del logo de Splinterland y pinté todo el contorno de negro.

Luego que estaba el dibujo quise ponerle un poco de color al borde, con la pintura verde oliva cubrí el contorno.

Para finalizar hice algunos trazos libres de zentangle. Así es como quedó este Garabato del logo tipo de Splinterland.

Esta ha sido mi primera práctica de perspectiva. Estoy satisfecha con el resultado y espero les guste. Seguiré practicando para mejorar cada día.
