¡Saludos a todos! Hoy me gustaría compartir con la gente bella de @hivecuba un paseo por la ciudad de Camagüey.

Esta es una bella ciudad de la provincia del mismo nombre, que me encantó recorrer por sus famosas calles estrechas en forma de laberinto, según la historia, se hicieron de esta manera como defensa para confundir a los invasores y tener ventaja. En mi experiencia personal, me perdí varias veces entre estas bonitas calles y terminé llegando a un lugar totalmente diferente al que quería llegar. Fue muy divertido y complocado aprender las direcciones.

Greetings to all! Today I would like to share with the beautiful people of @hivecuba a walk through the city of Camagüey.

This is a beautiful city in the province of the same name, which I loved to walk through its famous narrow streets in the form of a labyrinth, according to history, they were made this way as a defense to confuse the invaders and have an advantage. In my personal experience, I got lost several times among these beautiful streets and ended up getting to a totally different place than the one I wanted to get to. It was a lot of fun and a lot of fun to learn the directions.

Fue fundada en 1514 y su nombre era Puerto Principe. Su casco histor fue declarado patrimonio de la humanidad en el año 2008.

El Camagüey, es la cuna de varios personajes que han dejado huella en su paso por el mundo. Entre esos Carlos J. Finlay, un médico y científico reconocido por sus trabajos como el estudio de la fiebre amarilla. En Camagüey se encuentra un bonito museo con algunas de las pertenencias del doctor.

Camagüey is the birthplace of several characters who have left their mark on the world. Among those Carlos J. Finlay, a physician and scientist recognized for his work such as the study of yellow fever. In Camagüey there is a beautiful museum with some of the doctor's belongings.

Si estamos en el centro de la ciudad, debemos pasar por la iglesia, por la plaza de los trabajadores, la academia de ajedrez y podemos parar a comer en el restaurante el gallo para disfrutar de un congri y una piña colada.

If we are in the center of town, we must pass by the church, the workers' square, the chess academy and we can stop for lunch at the restaurant el gallo to enjoy a congri and a piña colada.

Esta ciudad se ha convertido en parte importante de mi vida. Aquí nació el hombre del que me enamoré y en su ciudad natal nos casamos en el registro civil, luego en la misma ciudad recibí mi recidencia y tiempo más tarde nació mi hija. Con toda franqueza puedo decir que la Ciudad de Camagüey es mi segunda cuna.

This city has become an important part of my life. Here was born the man I fell in love with and in his hometown we got married in the civil registry, then in the same city I received my residence and some time later my daughter was born. I can honestly say that the city of Camagüey is my second birthplace.
