Splinterlands Diary: Today I Bought A New Monster Card

I'm feeling stumped lately because of my lack of good cards to choose for the ranked battles. Besides the few cards I actually owned, I could only rely on the free cards (or rather, free to use cards) that the game provide.

As one would expect, you can't go far (figuratively, and literally) in the game by just relying on those free cards. So today, I decided to change that and bought myself a new card.

The Card

The card I've bought is Djinn Chwala, one of the recently released cards in the game. Djinn Chwala is an epic monster of the dragon splinter family.

Even at first glance, one could see that Djinn Chwala is a very powerful monster with her 2 attack, 2 speed, 5 defense, and 9 health. She also have the "Thorn" skill that damages any monster cards that attacked her.

Her stats would easily make Djinn Chwala a front line fighter and defender. Unfortunately, her mana requirement would only make her usable in high mana battles.

Still, I think she's a really good card.

Besides her stats, the other reason I've bought Djinn Chwala was because she was cheap. I think that came out wrong...

So what I mean was that the Djinn Chwala card was selling at a relatively cheap price of just $1.79 or 330+ DEC (according to the current market price) despite being an epic card.

So was she worth it?

I think she's worth it. Although she's tricky to use because of her high mana requirement, her high health and defense would make her a good front liner, especially if paired with the right cards. As for what those cards were, I currently have no idea. I need to experiment to find out.

Well I buy more cards?

Yes, I plan to buy more cards and DEC once the price of HIVE stabilizes. But with how the market is right now, it'll have to wait.
