Grund's A Killer In The Spreading Fury Ruleset
I'm still getting used to all the new cards and how they work with the rulesets. Existing strategies have to be updated as new summoners and monsters open up new possibilities.
One of the biggest beneficiaries in my early assessment is the Earth Splinter. Seems to be very powerful with the new Obsidian summoner and some new monsters like Grund as well as double healing options.
Grund has the double strike ability and also has pretty high health and a decent life. Not a lot of mana required either so it is quite versatile for lower mana rulesets.
Now, when you pair it with enrage like in this battle, it becomes quite deadly. Each attack does 5 damage so that is 10 damage per round.
Makes quick work of enemies especially if they have low health cards. That it has no shield also makes it get enraged the first time it takes damage so it will get triggered early.
Grund's a spectacular double-strike melee monster. Probably one of my favorite new Earth Splinter cards.
That Mycelic spawn is pretty deadly too. Lots of good new cards in the earth splinter, I must say.
Yes, the new Mycelic cards are very interesting looking and have good abilities. I'll have to try them out more.
I hate having to adjust. I want people to start posting their best lineups. Those are actually my favorite posts. Can't wait to they start coming fast and furious lol. I'm losing just about every match.
I know that losing feeling too lol. It is going to be tough especially for those who were relying on the alpha-beta starter cards.
