Last Stand Doesn't Work So Well In The Reverse Speed Ruleset

It is always frustrating when I come up against a Scarred Llama Mage paired up with Kron The Undying. It is a hard combo to beat. The 18 health, 6 life points healing per round and 5 speed are a pain to beat.

When I saw my opponent's lineup, I thought it was a goner. Not only did he have a Kron, he also had a legendary Oaken Behemoth and a Flesh Golem which self-heals as well. I was pleasantly surprised by a win here. But why did Last Stand not work out so well? In the reverse speed ruleset, Kron would heal at the end. What makes Last Stand so frustrating against self-healers is that the healing takes place at the start of the round.

Coupled with a 'stun', the Kron or other self-healer is left vulnerable to 2 rounds without healing and hence is beatable. A point to consider for anyone using their Scarred Llama Mages in reverse speed ruleset. As awesome as it is, the rules do negate some of its power.
