Michael Burry Not Shorting Crypto Anymore

Michael Burry, of The Big Short fame, has revealed that he is no longer shorting Bitcoin, and has even bought some crypto. That's quite the change from someone who was pretty down on crypto in general.

He still maintains that crypto is in a bubble and that most do not understand it well enough. Here's the link to the article: https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/currencies/big-short-michael-burry-crypto-bitcoin-speculation-bubble-blockchain-nft-2021-10

Interestingly, he sees the application of NFTs away from art. Maybe someone should tell him about Splinterlands and other games on the Hive blockchain that are monetizing in game assets of players in ways that we only dreamed of back in the day.

If only all my Ultima Online gold from 1999 was worth something in the real world instead of being a cost to me in the form of a subscription fee.

Between the ETF that has launched today to the positive chatter out of old school hedge fund players, including titans like Ray Dalio, Paul Tudor Jones, Anthony Scaramucci, there's a lot to feel optimistic about crypto.

Now, if you hear that Nouriel Roubini has warmed up to Bitcoin, be very worried! Once the last bear has been converted, the bubble's going to pop.
