Using PeakMonsters To Efficiently Optimize Rentals

image.png

In my last post about my review of the season that just passed, I wrote about how the rental prices have softened since I placed my cards out for rent. This meant that a lot of my cards are just sitting on the market without getting rented. A terrible waste.

So, to try and update the prices, I would either have to do them manually one by one on the Splinterlands interface or use a third-party tool like PeakMonsters to mass update the prices. Given the number of level 1 cards, the latter option would be better.

The process is fairly simple. Just log into PeakMonsters and click on 'My Cards' at the top.

Since I'm only interested in the cards that I want to rent out, I will filter for that on the right.

My card details at the top will get updated, showing the stats for the cards that I have out on rent.

Click 'Compare Your Rentals' which will then all you to do some additional filtering. In my case, I want to update the price for cards whose rental prices have dropped by more than 20% and which aren't delegated already.

I see that the rental prices of Mylor Crowling have dropped by quite a bit and that I would need to lower them or there's little chance of moving them.

So, I select all the Mylor Crowling cards that I have and then this is the part that's not so intuitive, click the stack of cards on the top which shows the number of cards selected.

In the expanded menu, click on rent and update the price as desired. There are price discovery tools to help you make a decision.

Once you're done, click on 'Confirm' and sign the transaction with Keychain.... and you're done!

So much simpler than having to manually update the prices one by one. Hope this helps you update your prices and leads to a more efficient market.
