Llegamos al cierre de la edición No. 11 llamada Madre hay una sola, en la cual participaron 27 personas, para cada uno de ustedes: muchas gracias.

Queríamos traer esos elementos particulares que guardamos con orgullo y que son motivos de recordatorio en las tertulias familiares, esos que nos provocan una sonrisa y nos hacen decir: «tenía que ser ella». En este desfile de ocurrencias conocimos esa madre que tiene poderes adivinatorios y es capaz de vaticinar el fracaso de una relación antes de que esta se dé, la que no pierde oportunidad de encaminar esas decisiones de los hijos y nietos.

Conocimos las matronas, las que crearon una dinastía y sus órdenes se cumplían sin hacer oposición. Desde las comidas hasta las llegadas de los hijos a la casa eran controladas por ellas, pero más aún, si había necesidad de poner orden en otro lugar, no tardaban en levantar su voz y exigir respeto.

Son muchos los que notan la falta de ese rigor en los hogares nuevos que les dé un soporte a la familia y genere una disciplina necesaria para una sociedad más equilibrada y justa.

Tuvimos descripciones muy sentidas, pero también las hubo jocosas, con la capacidad narrativa y descriptiva para mostrarnos esa madre que todo lo resolvía con una carcajada y que hasta en momentos que requerían una solemnidad, su risa surgía como el sello personal que cortaba el hielo.

Imposible dejar de mostrar ese hecho que distingue a una madre de las demás mujeres como lo es el darlo todo por el todo, asumir el compromiso que sea con tal de lograr el bienestar de su hijo. Así fue como leímos acerca de una madre que persiguió a unos monos, que a su vez perseguían a su hija para quitarle un trozo de torta. Y aún más extraordinario, la que corrió quince minutos con su hija de ocho años en brazos para llevarla a un centro de salud, ya que la niña se había caído y partido la barbilla que sangraba copiosamente.

También supimos de un dulce de arroz con leche con restos de ajo y cebolla, porque las madres no permitirán botar comida, si sobra. se ingeniarán un plato y no faltará la que creará una historia fabulosa para que los niños se coman las verduras.

Realmente estoy muy satisfecha con el resultado de esta iniciativa que mostró a las madres en su propia dimensión: enfermeras, vigilantes, recreadoras, cantantes, bailarinas, atletas, magas y a las abuelas con ese reservorio de recuerdos para entretener a sus nietos y llevarles felicidad.

There are many who notice the lack of that rigor in the new homes that would give support to the family and generate the necessary discipline for a more balanced and just society.

We had very heartfelt descriptions, but there were also humorous ones, with the narrative and descriptive capacity to show us that mother who solved everything with a laugh and that even in moments that required solemnity, her laughter emerged as the personal seal that cut the ice.

It is impossible not to show that fact that distinguishes a mother from other women, which is to give everything for everything, to assume any commitment in order to achieve the welfare of her child. This is how we read about a mother who chased some monkeys, who in turn chased her daughter to take a piece of cake from her. And even more extraordinary, the one who ran fifteen minutes with her eight-year-old daughter in her arms to take her to a health center, as the girl had fallen and split her chin, which was bleeding copiously.

We also learned about a sweet rice pudding with leftover garlic and onion, because mothers will not allow food to be thrown away, if there is any left over, they will invent a dish and there is no shortage of those who will create a fabulous story to make the children eat the vegetables.

I am really very satisfied with the result of this initiative that showed the mothers in their own dimension: nurses, watchers, recreators, singers, dancers, athletes, magicians and grandmothers with this reservoir of memories to entertain their grandchildren and bring them happiness.
