Scene Nativity/ Un pesebre de piedra

We have always heard that Christmas is a holiday for children and it is very true. With their motivation and enthusiasm they fill these dates with joy; their innocent faces are filled with curiosity and surprise, then we, the adults, only want them to be happy, enjoy those moments and have those memories that will make them repeat in the future, with their children, what they lived today.

The elaboration of the nativity scene is a tradition in which the whole family participates and the children do it with special joy, they are attentive to the whole process. My grandchildren had told me that they were making a nativity painted by themselves in stone. When I came to visit them they still had some unfinished ones.

St. Joseph, the Virgin, the Three Wise Men, the mule, the ox and several little houses, beautifully painted, are now occupying their respective places on wooden logs, where they simulate a village, awaiting the arrival of the Child God.

Siempre hemos escuchado que la Navidad es una festividad para los niños y es muy cierto. Ellos con su motivación y entusiasmo llenan de alegría estas fechas; sus rostros inocentes se llenan de curiosidad y sorpresa, luego nosotros, los adultos, solo queremos que ellos sean felices, disfruten esos momentos y les queden esos recuerdos que les harán repetir en un futuro, con sus hijos, lo vivido hoy.

La elaboración del pesebre es una tradición en la que participa toda la familia y los niños lo hacen con alegría especial, están atentos a todo el proceso. Mis nietos me habían dicho que estaban haciendo un nacimiento pintado por ellos mismos en piedra. Cuando llegué a visitarlos todavía tenían algunos sin terminar.

San José, la Virgen, los tres Reyes Magos, la mula, el buey y varias casitas primorosamente pintadas están ahora ocupando su respectivo puesto sobre troncos de madera, donde se simula un poblado, esperando la llegada del Niño Dios.
