I don't know what I should leave. I really do not. As much as I'll want to leave all of the best life offerings, I barely own a lot. Here are the three things that readily came to mind;

• Assets.

Like money, having properties go a long way but unlike money, properties rarely depreciate especially landed properties. All of the properties my father's fathers passed down have stood the test of time but the money, they've not only lost value, but, they are no longer in use. With properties, they could either build on it, plant on it, put it up for rent or sell it if they so choose. I could buy gold, stocks, shares, basically invest in as much as I can. Finally, if I have to choose between money and assets, I'll go with the latter.
I'll want my next generation to live their lives devoid of lack.

• Picture Genealogy.

My parents have pictures of themselves when they were very young. They are also in possession of letters, books and pictures of their families which was passed down. I wasn't there at the time those pictures were taken but whenever we glance through the pictures whilst they explained to me the circumstances surrounding why they took those pictures, I can clearly imagine what life must have been in their time. I find the vibe of their time old and archaic but it has helped me appreciate growth. In the same way, I'll want my next generation to have an idea of what their ancestry was like.
Thankfully, technology has made record storage easier, so I can not only take pictures, but leave behind videos from my life; the good, bad and ugly.

• Family Gene/Traits.

I consider myself very fortunate to be born in a family that suffers no health disorder whatsoever. Genetically, we are very fit and healthy and show great signs of longevity. Even as we grow older, we are not prone to all of the many illness that show up as a result of old age.
So, I wouldn't think twice before passing down the family gene to my next generation because I'll want them to have a wholesome life. Having all of life's goodies but good health is as good as having nothing at all.
Also, Godliness, honesty and unity are our go to mantra. We're so big on these virtues. I guess those are our major strengths. I'll pass that down too.

These three things do not scratch the surface of the many things I'll want to leave behind but what can I do.
