AI: An assistant not a substitute

Artificial intelligence (AI) surely has shown that it is here to stay and not just here. While scrolling tiktok some days ago , I came through a lady's post where she had a bad day making chinchin, she said the chinchin was crunchy and all nice after she is done frying, she was supposed to give it time to cool off before packing but because she is feeling sleepy already she packed it and went to bed , exactly what one would predict, the chinchin were soft the next morning ,she posted the disappointment on the video in the comments section she added the solution she got to make that gave her back her perfect crunchy chinchin and behold, she said she went to ask his best friend what solution she can. .

Many people under her comments were saying one or two about how AI has really helped them. Now, it's not limited to students nor to business owners, hospitals and lots more, this shows it is definitely here to stay. One thing can both produce positivity as well as negativity, it depends on which one you want,AI being a powerful tool shouldn't make us fear instead it should make us happy, it is one thing to use AI and it is another thing to depend solely on AI.

The world is not stopping here so I believe it is going to get more and more advanced as year goes, a lot of digital development is still coming. We should draw the line where AI wants to replace our efforts. For me, I mainly use AI to get a deeper understanding about things,I Know hours I spend on Google then trying to search each word separate,join the meaning,just to understand what I'm reading. This has really save me time and I enjoyed it.

AI should develop us more and not take away from us our knowledge, being dependant on it will be a disadvantage to us. We shouldn't fear it but learn how to use it responsible. Teachers and parents should work on this for children and not just banning them not to use it, that's the way Nigeria educational system run their things which is not supposed to be so, its killing creativity, while technology is supposed to help students more by making their thinking ability higher. We need AI as a supporter,to aid our thinking,make us more curious,make us research and know more.
