Cake for a Dad birthday

I made this simple red velvet size 8 ,one layer cake for my clients. She wanted a cake for her dad on his birthday but was on a very low budget.
Even though there isn't money to buy accessories to make it look more beautiful , I tried to make it still very nice while simple. I guess I like the outcome.

It's a simple cake bit still looks nice. I don't know if it's the yellow colour adding to that, but it does look nice.

Oh just seeing this sis

500g of margarine to 1kg of icing sugar
OR
400 g of shortening to 1kg of icing sugar,add 1/8 tsp of salt and 1/4 cup of water
