My Top 3 Favorite Video Games
I used to be a pretty avid gamer in my younger days and as I moved on through life I had to play another game called real life sims which involved getting a job, not picking your nose in public, paying bills, not saying nice tits to women in public, making food, cleaning up after myself and not shitting my pants in public.
As you can tell this game takes up a lot of my time, but I do try to make time for some gaming if a title looks really tasty.
Given the fact I only have 3 choices I'm allowed to makes this one a toughy, their are so many great titles out and I enjoyed playing so many games.
So whats my top 3 you ask?

My Reasons for the Nomination
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a 2018 action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games the makers of GTA. The game is the third entry in the Red Dead series and is a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption. It's set in the wild west and is an open world shooter that will make you feel like a real cowboy.
The games open world is vast and puts you into so many crazy situations with a rich story line to follow if you so choose. The game is super addictive and you can easily sit down and like 4 hours go by and you hardly did anything just been walking around and exploring.

Super Mario Brothers
My Reasons for the Nomination
My second choice would have to be something a little older and I went with the Super Mario brothers franchise. I loved playing the original on SNES and played the various updates over the years and part from cleaner graphics not much has changed from the one we know and love.
There are spin offs like Super Mario Galaxy that offer something different and I enjoyed those too, but really there's something about this fire shooting Italian plumber that has stood the test of time.

My Reasons for the Nomination
The easiest way for me to pick a top 3 would be to go by hours played and no game consumed more of my ours than the Pokemon franchise, starting with Blue, Red and Yellow and then moving on to Ruby and the rest. This game has been repackaged and expanded more times than I can remember but the original was still the classic, its the reason they can redo the same game so many years later and still make sales.
Catching Pokemon, creating your top 6, training them to evolve to their best form and learning new moves, and beating everyone along the way, who can say no to that adventure?

Red Dead Redemption is fucking awesome. I wasted so many hours playing that game. Thank god I quit gaming. :D
Ah another fan, yes I agree, I also had to pack my ps4 away after that game, It was so time consuming that and the switched 3, I got almost nothing done and became obsessive about it, i normally break out during the holidays

My only vice now is Splinterlands which isn’t bad for me yet thank god.
LOL me too, I get my daily or season rewards and off I go! Stacking dem cards, if this game gets big I'll make a decent income from renting out my deck

Never played red dead but I’ve heard it’s incredible. Unfortunately probably will never play it lol that’s ok though I will live vicariously through you!
Pokémon was awesome back in the day. I don’t remember which version I played but I definitely took advantage of the glitch to get unlimited master balls! Never found a cool rare one like Mew I think though.
I don’t know if I can narrow down mine to top 3! I’ve played countless hours over the past few decades it’s hard to bring it down to 3 lol
Oh don't ever get started, unless you know you have like a full month to do nothing but play, like somehow you became a teenager again or have a Dan Bilzerian lifestyle.
Lol I actually changed my selection a few times, these 3 were the ones I couldn't leave out.
Red dead redemption is so lit. The story mode is so wonderful then the head shot feel.. i plated super mario as a child, it was just there for me ..
Lol I feel you man, I could play RDD for hours and not get bored, It would also make me fat because I wouldn't work out and just pound chips and red bull into my mouth and keep playing
Mario is such a timeless game.
Rdd is such a good game.. but my best is God of war ascension

Yeah, yeah! Red Dead Redemption is where it's at! I love that game. I had originally bought that game for someone else but I kept it instead, it looked too tempting to play. But don't worry the person did get it in the end.

Lol my copy is currently with a friend I finished the main campaign and lent it out but I still want to finish all the side missions and other stuff so when I get it back I'll give it a shot.
I am too much of a gamer to be able to lend out a game before I do all the side missions. I'm currently playing Borderlands 3 and I've put many hours into already and I am not that far in the game, it is all those side missions that keep me busy. And that friggin side mission ... Cartel..from Maurice that gives a great amount of loot. I just can't beat the boss, I need to level up big time first. I'm on a mission to finish a mission LOL.
Lol I needed to get the temptation out of reach or I wouldn’t get anything done I’m already struggling as is juggling my site, social media and clients stuff lol
I’ve never played boarderlands I have it on my PSN I guess I’ll give it a shot when the December holidays come around
It is really hard to balance everything and then add enjoyment to games. I have the hardest time. If I play, something else pays for it. But I think for the being that I am, it is not a bad thing to give up something small for a little entertainment.
I hope that you get to play at some point. It really is a good game.

Not played Red Dead Redemption but Rockstar Games are a solid game developer and loved the GTA series, looks like I might have to get me some wild west digital action YEEEHAAWWWWW!
Mario Bros is SUCH a good franchise - good to see another SNES lad here, I was more in to the Super Mario Kart on the SNES, that's the OG right there - N64 version was good but you can't beat that 16 bit cheese!
Pokemon, couldn't get in to that though, didn't want to catch anything from that lol.

I never had a N64 always wanted one the catalogue of game was insane I went ps1 that generation but later got a game cube and never regretted it
Hmmm I didn't go as far as the Gamecube but think it was a great reinvention. Who made the Dreamcast? That seemed to be a massive flop, not even Banjo Kazooie could save it (shit version of Crash Bandicoot haha)

Haha yeah that was it, Sega! Definitely should have stopped at the Mega Drive... but aren't there a few remastered versions of the Sonic games out now? Sonic Mega Collection Plus I seem to remember was released with a shit ton of classic games!
I think they licensed it to Nintendo and have been going to mobile game route’ still think they were a dope gaming company would have loved to have seen games like sonic and Shinobi get the modern treatment

I played lots of Pokemon versions, Gold, Crystal, Blue, Red, Ruby, Emerald, Leafgreen, Firered. I haven't played Sword and Shields yet, but it looks really awesome. I'm gonna try that.
Lol me too I spent far too much time on Pokémon with my game boy but it was a life saver in the car on family trips
The real lifesaver is the space button on Visual Boy Advance Emulator(if you played on a computer). That really speeds up the game and helped training pokemon faster without getting bored. 😄
LOL I used to just set my thing at super speed and go nuts but I never liked playing on the PC or laptop I needed a handheld so later on I installed it on my Nokia. Lol not even sure that was considered a smartphone at the time but I got a simulator working on it

I borrowed a copy of RDR2 from a friend for a few weeks and he then wanted it back. It's probably for the best because I was starting to get totally obsessed by it. So much to do and so little time. Amazing game. I remember playing a lot of poker on the original game.

If I remember rightly, we we at a new camp and I was running errands from that spot. I think the last mission I had was rounding up 4 different people for someone. One was a lady that didn't take any shit! Lol.
