Blue Scad Mackerel in White Vinegar with Snow Cabbage (two step cooking)

It is cooking time again for my family. Today, I cooked one of my husband's favorites. The dish is called "Blue Scad Mackerel in White Vinegar with Snow Cabbage". This is my husband's favorite because it is very tasty, healthy, and also nutritious. The soup of this dish is sour and my husband likes it very much. Aside from being tasty, my husband loves this dish because it is very healthy. After all, there is no oil or fat in this dish.

Cooking this dish is very easy. You just have to prepare all the ingredients and then combine them in a bowl. This dish is also very versatile if you can't buy Blue Scand Mackerel you can use Milk Fish and Tilapia as a substitute and the taste is the same. No matter whether you use Blue Scad Mackerel, Milk Fish, or Tilapia the soup is still delicious.

The preparation time for this dish is about five to ten minutes. And cooking time is about five to ten minutes.

Ingredients

  • Blue Scad Mackerel (500 grams)
  • Snow Cabbage (50 grams)
  • Ginger (1 pc, small)
  • Onion (2 pcs, small)
  • White Vinegar (50 ml)
  • Salt

Preparing the ingredients

I just washed and sliced the snow cabbage in half

I just peeled and sliced the ginger

I just peeled and sliced the onion

I prepared the Blue Scad Mackerel in advance

I prepared the white vinegar

I prepared the green pepper

How to cook

1. I combined all the ingredients in a bowl except for the snow cabbage then I put 50 ml of vinegar

2. I added 150 ml of water

3. I put one teaspoon of salt, then I boiled them

4. When it started to boil I added all the snow cabbage and let them boil again

5. After the snow cabbage is cooked I turn off the heat
