REMINDER, Chess Brothers League Season 3 "Master Sacrifice" - Announcement of Round 7

(Edited)

Dear chess friends!

Last Sunday we had round number 6 of the CBL season 3. We enjoyed quite a lot of fun in a crazy 2+1 tournament in which, as you can imagine, many plot twists, blunders, time scrambles and so on took place. For many, this is a very difficult time control because it is very hard to be precise in the moves obviously due to the time pressure. However, a chess player will always face time rushes regardless of the time control. A classical game, for example, can be potentially decided during the zeitnot.

On the other hand, we have noticed that the participation in the polls has gone down a lot and in the last couple of tournaments. The time control has been decided by a few ones. We encourage you to vote in the weekly poll and share your opinion and the format you wish to play. We are approaching the end of this league and we would like these time controls to be appropriate to be able to define the final results objectively.

As for the results of this week, @tungphong triumphs with a score of 22 points and a very high berserk rate of 92%. It's impressive given that the initial time was already quite small. The immediate pursuer was @eniolw with 21 points, and the surprise of the event was @jesusmgl1995 who is a new hiver and wants to join the first places of the chess events played on Hive.

You can see the whole results of this round in this report.

(To see more details about this round and the complete leaderboard, please visit our weekly report).

After playing this round, we have a tie for first place. @eniolw and @samostically share the top spot with 110 points. it couldn't be more exciting! It is extremely important that these players continue until the end because the slightest slip up could cost them the championship.

Also very close behind them is @lucianosky with 98 points that put him in 3rd place, but with a great potential to become the champion of the third season.

Of course, @tony1294 keeps great chances also, currently in 4th place. His 91 points keep him in the fight for the top places.

In turn, @tungphong has a little more complicated scenario, as his missed previous rounds have cost him important points so he has to settle with the 5th place ATM. However, with his recent win, he climbs one position and we should not be surprised if at the end of the season he can climb more places.

As for the greatest ups, @ropavejero leads by climbing 10 positions. It's quite remarkable as this greatly improved his ranking in the leaderboard. He reached this thanks to his good performance in the sixth round.

If you haven't heard about the Chess Brothers League Season 3 yet, please take a look at this post.

We only have two rounds left. Everything is ready for us to witness a great show. As in a car race, the final moments are the loaded with the highest tension, so stay tuned! We are really excited to know the final standings. Who do you think will be the best ranked? Let us know in the comments.

я пропоную варіанти менше 5хв вилучити з голосування взагалі, щоб не витрачати час на фігню. Та додати варіантів 960, щоб не виглядати для нащадків дурниками, які розставляли фігури одним способом, хоча розуміли, що це тупоI propose to remove options less than 5 minutes from the vote altogether, so as not to waste time on garbage. And add 960 options, so as not to look like fools for posterity, who put the figures in one way, even though they realized it was stupid

смысл в том, что желающие в любой игре могут нажать кнопку берсерк, а так, как сейчас - мне приходится пропускать туры, потому что жаль тратить время на бессмысленное дерганье передними лапамиthe point is that anyone in any game can press the berserk button, but as it is now - I have to skip tours, because it's a pity to waste time on pointless twitching with my front paws
