Coconut Milk Coffee! From the scratch!

Coconut is considered a very auspicious fruit in India. Any auspicious occasion is incomplete without it. A few days ago there was a festival of Rakshabandhan, coconut is very important in this festival, so some coconuts were accumulated in our house too.

These coconuts with husk required some spare time to peel, break and remove cream from inside. So today an idea came on my mind, why not make coffee with fresh coconut milk from the scratch, and share with fellow Hivers!

Vegan coconut milk coffee

Here I took 2 coconuts with husk 👇

Removed husk (not at all easy)👇

Broke the shell and white pulp inside. Water already removed before breaking the shell by making hole in it.👇

Now the most difficult step, removing flesh from hard shell. It must be removed carefully with the help of a knife. Care must be taken, otherwise you might get hurt.👇

Cut into small pieces and transfer into a high speed mixer grinder jar. Added some water and made thick coconut milk by squeezing pulp through fine cloth.

Thick coconut milk is ready to add in coffee 👇

To make coffee, slightly heat the coconut milk(do not boil) and pour into black coffee.

Vegan coconut milk coffee is ready!👇

Coffee made with fresh coconut milk taste amazingly delicious. Completely different from dairy milk. So tasty and so satisfying!
