My acquired Skil aside school

Good day everybody, it feels good to be here again, the year is still fresh so I guess I'd be permitted to wish you a happy new year.

From the moment I saw this particular topic among the three, I was so excited and I couldn't wait to share mine, I'd first start by saying that I've learnt from many people's experience that depending on white collar jobs is really not an option, yes school has it's own impact on us but I don't really see the reason why some student over emphasis on the white collar jobs, sometimes it looks like they tend to rely on it, some student will tell you that they are just in school for the certificate and thats all, for me I don't believe one could get employed because of he's or her certificate, I believe its because of what he has upstairs that's why after you submit your CV, you'd be asked to come for an interview, aside school,.havi acquiring a skill makes you a bit independent, yeah be you would also need the help of others, I would prefer to own my business with whatever skill I've learnt than to be walking on different street with my CV.

Speaking of my acquired Skil, right from childhood I already knew had something to do with film production but to be specific I would just talk about video editing because film production is a world n it's own, well I won't say I'm done with learning because nobody is above learning, aside that I still have a long way to go in learning it, I'm still learning video editing on power director, it's a software used to edit video and it has great features and my dad loves to use it for some certain things, oh I didn't tell you that my dad is my teacher right from childhood.

There was something my dad told me that I can't forget, as an editor, there are different editing software you could use, there are software that are kind of outdated and there are other software that are updated, my dad told me that it's not about the software you use (though it has it own advantage), it's about the person editing, this statement made me learn how to do some tricks on the outdated softwares.

The next software I would love to learn is the raining software ADOBE PREMIUN, though I glanced through once but I know I'm not an expert like @starstrings01 and @ksam, wow have you seen this guy's, they should be on the pro level, like they are just good, viewing their videos makes me feel like a learning learner haha 😂.

My dreams is to become a movie producer, an editor (basically) and a director but before that happens I would have to attend any film school close by and that would have to be after my degree.

I dabbled in video editing a few years ago using Adobe Premiere Pro after a friend asked me to make a video ad for him and I will just say that video editing is not easy. But if you put in the effort to become very good at it, you will surely achieve your dream one day 🙌
