Thesis Needs Re-defense, Why I'm not Sad About it?

It's been months since we started conducting our thesis, I never skipped a day just to gather information in our library, I dedicated my time and effort to do my best in making our full chapter 2 which is RRL. I never complain even if I work alone since I am enjoying what I'm doing, we are 10 members in one thesis with approximately a cost of 100,000 PHP, and there are lots of arguments and fights, especially those people who didn't help.

However, we survive our title defense and there are lots of revisions we do on our paper. Until we start making our prototype which is a charging station for E-bikes. I also dedicate myself to making our prototype from design to building, I am still active I'm the one who designs our prototype using AutoCAD.

It's the design I created, it looks simple but inside the box where the components are placed and it has a wiring diagram on it. It has proper dimensions including its elevation since our area is flooded.

By the way, I will show you some photos of our process of accomplishing our thesis.

The area we choose and how we manage to remove all the trash, sand, and gravel.

We also weld our pillars and support to ensure that the prototype is durable and long-lasting.

Imagine being an all-around worker in our thesis HAHAH, I am also gathering data for chapters 4 and 5, in that photo, the project is semi-finished and other areas need to be polished.

Until our final defense came and we decide to have a group photo on our prototype, at 1 PM we already entered at thesis defense room. The atmosphere is too heavy since the panel is not in a good mood. Our Introducer starts by giving our names, stating the title, and starting the study's background.

We were given 20 minutes to finish the whole presentation, I was assigned on block diagram, RRL, and project visualization since I'm the one who made them all and I knew how to explain them. After 20 minutes, we finished our conclusion, and the panel became open to questions.

We feel so nervous even though our leader is so cold in his seat but what I love the most is, the atmosphere became good during questioning, Imagine it was a final defense but the panel gave us lectures about proper computations and how electrical components work. We tried our best to answer questions from the panel and we already expect that chapter 4 will be the biggest hole in the thesis.

Since our data isn't strong to support our claims, there are various areas we need to fix which are recommended by the panel after the session finished we came out since the panel needs to decide, and after a few minutes we came back and the panel decides re-defense since our paper is not properly supported by our testing, however, the good part is, we just need to fix our testing and give an accurate data, that's the only thing we need to redefend and if we properly defend it on the second time then we can now celebrate for that victory since all the effort are worth it.
