Regaining The Love Of Parents Prt1/2 || MCGI Topic Review

Sometimes, we think that because someone is our parent, they will automatically love us no matter what. But the truth is, to truly win someone’s heart even our parents' our behavior and character matter a lot.

You might be surprised to know that there are some parents who struggle to like or feel close to their own children. It might sound strange, but it happens. Of course, in many cases, the parents may be partly at fault. However, the child also needs to ask: “What am I doing that makes my father or mother feel distant from me?”

The truth is, even people who do wrong still care for their children. That’s exactly what Jesus said in the Bible. In Matthew 7:11, it says: “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”

This means that even those who sin still know how to love their children. And if they can do that, imagine how much more God who is perfect loves us.

Now think about this: who do you think God will save in the end? It is not just those who say they believe, but those who repent and change their ways. The same goes for our parents. They may love all their children, but they naturally feel more joy toward the ones who respect them, listen to them, and behave well.

Parents are more likely to pray for and bless a child who is obedient and kind. If we remember the story of Noah, God warned him about the great flood because Noah was faithful. God didn’t want him to be destroyed with the rest of the world. That shows how favor comes when you live a good life.
