What do you see

I see a scary looking clown painted on the wall. The clown looks a lot like the popular villain called joker, it's wearing a McDonald's shirt with an M carved on it. Then behind it is the McDonald's building blurred a bit

What do you feel
I feel like I'm loosing control of myself. It seems like something else is possessing me, I can't help it, I'm slowly embracing it and becoming one with it.

Mike took a walk down the roughly paved road he'd always enjoyed using. It looked rather deserted today and there was no sign of the regular shrewd looking guy who always stood by the road side perfectly still carrying a sign that read **He is coming, prepare for him**. It actually felt weird because it was nothing like the "Jesus is coming soon" or "Repent!, Rapture is coming" signs that read everywhere.

The strong headache he'd felt since waking up hadn't left him and it was getting worse by the second. He couldn't quite remember the horrible nightmare he had but the uncontrolled and almost ghostly laughter still loomed in his head, echoing loud and clear. The nightmare actually felt so real and it felt like he had indeed lived it.

He'd been having this series of nightmare for a while now and each time it felt like something else was in control of his mind and body.

One morning he woke up to find his body stained with spray paint. It was shocking because he couldn't remember leaving the house to go buy any paint or ever being interested in art. It had seemed so unrealistic, almost like he was actually dreaming. Since that day, relaying his ordeal to another person didn't feel like a good idea, they'll surely call him crazy, he thought.

Even his fiancee had been adamant that he'd changed, this isn't the mike I used to know, you're behaving awfully strange, she said several times. Thinking about it just makes the pain in his head to worsen.

He took the bend that led towards Mrs Madison's house. He needed to see her. It had been a while he heard her beautiful voice as he laid hopelessly in bed enjoying her beautiful melodies. If she hadn't taken him in when everyone had thrown him out and thought he was a lost cause, he might have indeed been been cursed.

She took care of him like he was hers, formed from her womb, blood of her blood and flesh of her flesh. Most times when he would have his episodes she'll calm him down with a soothing hug and the don't you leave me lullaby her grand mother always sang to her. It always worked its magic and before long, he'll be calm.

He'd been ashamed he deserted her when she needed him the most. After a horrible stroke hit her, he was scared and since seeing her that way unsettled him, so he stayed away. Way too long than he'd ever anticipated and it took a lot of courage to walk down this road that led to what was once home for him.

"I'll have to stop by McDonald's and get her a chilli hamburger",he said to myself as he remembered how she'd almost made him addicted to chilli hamburger. Hehe, he'd even hidden some to throw away because he didn't want to hurt her by telling her that he couldn't tolerate the whole thought of hamburger going in his mouth almost every day.

Mike snapped out of his thought to find ghostly eyes staring at him. Startled, he moved some steps forward to get a clear look. A scary looking wall painting of a clown wearing a McDonald's stared back at him. That stare felt all too familiar, he'd been here before and he certainly knew this face. When he brought his face closer, he could feel the stare dig right into his soul and open up something that had been locked away for too long.

A broad smile finally drew across the face of this creature, it was unmistakable, and like a sorcerer's spell, a broad smile also drew across Mike's face. His soul and that of this creature merged to become one and at that moment he knew what he needed to do. He pulled out the knife that had been tucked away in his boot waiting for her prince charming, and started off towards the McDonald's building that stood facing him. "It was certainly going to be an eventful day after all", he thought as he started to laughed hysterically.
