And the air left my lungs

I've always been a bright child, well not always but amidst all the constant flogging and extra teachings I finally picked up eventually and as bright things do, I shined at other things. Was always top of my class and I could feel others lose air around me whenever the results came out. I was also a good soccer player, I had a special skill no one else had and everyone soon knew me as the hooker because I had this amazing feet that could easily hook other players legs and also the ball.

I certainly had a thing for the girls too and they'd always smile at the hooker whenever he was out in front of everyone doing his thing. I was very bright at everything but then I just couldn't handle going on errands. My mom was always patient enough to write me a list of the things I was to get whenever I went over to the market to get things and even with that there was always something missing, but she was always quite understandable.

Well one day, day came back all moody and down. He complained of having body pains and some other things and needed someone to go get him drugs, before I could hide myself he chose me and told me the name of the drug he wanted and I was on my way. I was in the middle of a movie when the call for errand duties came so I ran like my life depended on it and when I eventually got to the chemist. I had to take a few minutes to get back myself.

Then she saw I was ready for her, she asked me what drug i wanted to buy. I looked up at her and all the air left me. My head became completely blank and I couldn't remember a thing. For a bright student that was very embarrassing. I turned and made the slow walk back home, how was I going to face my dad. I took a deep breath and entered the house, he asked me why I didn't have the drug with me and then I went on about how the chemist wanted to be sure of the symptoms he was having to be sure the drug was right for him and I needed to ask him if it was that drug he actually wanted.

My dad who was obviously not feeling in no mood for talk, told me he wanted the tetracycline and if that chemist wasn't ready to sell I should to the next one. I ran out of the house happy that I'd been able too hook my way out of there and Sang the name of the song as I ran. I got there and boldly told the chemist I needed tatacylin and the chemist looked at me confused. Then after a moment she told me she didn't have it and gave me directions to where I could get it.

I followed her directions grudgingly, why was she trying to stress me. I got to the shop and it looked completely different with weird signs and animal drawings. I walked in and and asked the eager receptionist for the drug. He didn't even waste two seconds and brought back a small bottle that was wrapped weirdly, and he collected the money with a smile. I made it back home on time and immediately handed my dad the drug.

I didn't even know when a slap landed on my face and then another. Before I could run, my dad's firm hands caught hold of mine and hooked it tightly and he then dealt with me mercilessly. After that he gave me the drug and asked me to drink it. It was at that moment I saw the weird drawing of a rat and read the words Rat poison, I didn't even know when I fainted.

I can't even stop laughing while mocking you 😂🤪

So you went to a rat poison shop instead of a chemist, maybe I should be wondering how the first chemist woman directed you and got you there.

Tatacyline? Rat poison was just the right item that word you were pronouncing can give to you.

It only pains me that you let your dad who wasn't feeling too well to start hitting you with his left strength 😂

All thanks to your dull brightness 😏 well, I hope you've known what tetracycline is now... Don't be a shame next time 👀

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Omg 😳

You wanted to give your Dad rat poison just because of the movie in your head. Thank God the man read before taking it 😂😂😂😂😂😂

But why would the first chemist woman direct you there? Or is it because of how you pronounced it? Tatacycline 😆😆😆😆

You sure made my morning with laugh.

Why didn't you drink it? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 You'd have died like a rat bright kid🤣🤣🤣. You were sent tetracycline and you went to speak gibberish and got home with rat poison. Bright kid, I wonder what those girls would do when they hear your story 🤣🤣.
