No More FOMO | I finally bagged myself some NFTs

I didn't really use to understand what FOMO felt like until Hive NFTs came into existence. The minting process started a few months back and some limited amounts of these NFTs were Successfully mined, then the rush to get these NFTs started.

I didn't really pay much attention to it at first until more Authors started to acquire their own NFTs and use them as their profile pictures. Most of my Nigerian brothers and sisters too weren't left out, the likes of @readthisplease, @nonsowrites, @belemo, @wolfofnostreet (I particularly love her NFT) also joined in and acquired some.

I wanted badly to get myself an Hive NFT but I didn't have any Hive to spare at that time because my account is still growing. I was almost moved by the FOMO to still go ahead and purchase them but I just eventually changed my mind. I finally gave up and thought to myself "Dude, you're getting yourself no NFTs".

The thought had even been out of my mind when my dear friend who had also shared my concerns with how engagement in the Proof of brain community was declining thought about a slick way to bring about engagement through a contest where he'd be giving out #pobpunks NFTs to the participants. I actually liked the idea but then one of the criteria for participating required having a twitter account, oboy it just felt like I wasn't destined to own any NFTs, hehe.

But then @jaxsonmurph in his magnanimity adjusted the rules to also favour some of us who weren't on twitter. Then when the contest started, I did my own part which included opening a wax wallet ( I never even knew about it before then) and dropped my address in the Comments.

Just yesterday I saw a message from him that my NFTs had already been sent. I went straight up to my wax wallet to see for myself. I must say it really felt good to see that I now own not one but two NFTs. I particular love these #pobpunks, they're both swaggerlicious, hehe.

The Nicky Tesla and Snoop Doge #pobpunks are quite one of a kind. I particular love Nicky Tesla more because of the way his pipe looks, I don't know but I love everything about him. He sure looks like a guy that'll get the girls head spinning. I certainly didn't waste no time, as you can see in my dp, he's going to be there a while hehe.

The Snoop Doge #pobpunk is also nice too, black nigga with the blunt, I must say a very big thank you to @jaxsonmurph for taking time to mint these NFTs and make them available to not crypto/NFTs experts like myself. It's given me the hope that'll I'll one day be among the league of very experienced crypto Enthusiasts like @readthisplease(I particularly love this guy). I can't wait to fully understand the crypto world, Meterverse and Defi. I hear a lot about these words and it draws me in.

I guess now I should be more enthusiastic about learning about how the World of crypto works, not for FOMO but for finally stability and grow. I know the Leofinance Community is a great place to start that journey and I'll be sure to share every stage of my journey with you all. You'll be seeing more of my questions and things I need clarity on.
