I can't stop laughing right now...omg!, Hehehe, I'm really excited and certainly happy. Can a movie ever give you that effect?, Well this one certainly did.

The man from Toronto

I must say I didn't know what to expect when I saw pictures of the making on twitter on Kelvin Hart's page, and I was certainly not sure how much of a combo He and Woody Harrelson would be but the I was really curious to see what they had in store for us.

I'd always believed that Dwayne Johnson and Kelvin were a great duo, the funny and playful nature of Kelvin Hart mixed with the husky and pretty straight forward nature of Dwayne was a perfect balance and certainly one to enjoy but then when I saw Woody, the Carnage guy, lol, I certainly knew this was going to be somewhere and I've seen a lot of Woody films and I know he's a great actor, funny when needed to be, scary and loveable when necessary.

What actually tickled my fantasy was seeing that Kaley Cuoco was part of the cast, I've always loved her since Big bang theory and even though she didn't play a major role, she certainly still did her thing. Her voice with those expressions she gives actually gives me goose bumps and I must say it was nice and when you pair her with the delectable Jasmine Mathews men that's something.

Jasmine playing Lori was the perfect role. She's beautiful, and certainly was something to look her. I loved how gentle she was and her smile actually reflected how much she loved her Teddy, lol. Everything fell in place perfectly and I must say I didn't really know what to expect, I didn't watch any trailers and certainly didn't know what the story was about but then my movie friend came to rescue and I almost screamed when he told me he had it, then I used best part of today to watch it in bits, because I didn't want it to finish.

Other casts were Pierson Ford, Ellen Barkin, Jencarlos Canela, Ronnie Rowe Jnr, Alejandro De Hoyos and so on.

Plot

It tells a story of a guy(Teddy) who's so excited about shaking the world with his great ideas, he has a lovely wife who actually encourages him every step of the way. He uploads the idea out there for the world to see but it just seems like everyone just doesn't see what he sees and he finds himself loosing his job on his wife's birthday.

Trying to shake it off and trying to make sure that this was going to be the best birthday she was going to have he pays for a cabin and takes her on a trip. This is where everything starts to go shitty, hehe. He ends up mixing things up and going to the wrong cabin where he meets a bunch of guys who thinks he's who he isn't.

This is where the adventure begins and he finds himself mixed up in a deadly situation, one involving a deadly bomb and a guy's thumb and lots and lots of violence. It goes from one good situation to a more grave situation and more and more action comes in place.

Who's the man from Toronto?, Nobody actually knows his identity. Would they eventually find out?, Well, I don't know, you'll have to go watch it yourself, hahaha.

Best Scene

How can I have only one best scene in a movie like this?. There were so many scenes that actually tickled my fantasy but first it starting with the drama on the plane where Kelvin first meets Woody. There were a lot of funny chats, hehe. Kelvin Hart is actually crazy, hehe, he kills this one for me and keeps me laughing hard.

Another scene was the second interrogation where he does more of talking than hardly any action and then I had to watch a grown up man do what little kids do, hahaha. It certainly was something I couldn't see coming.

Final Thoughts

I think Netflix and Sony came together to create magic. Even if the story line is something we don't always see, I think they actually portrayed it well. There were a lot of funny scenes and enough action to strike a balance. I still enjoyed it even though there were some scenes that seemed almost impossible or unlikely to happen but it's a movie, you can't expect it to be like real life.

Kelvin Hart as always kills the show for me, with his crazy humor and I must say he's exceptional, so many praises for the small man. I think the CGI wasn't too excessive, I guess I'll have to watch it again to notice some more flaws but overall it was a great movie, I totally enjoyed it and recommend it to you. It's a must watch!. I'll rate it a 9 out of 10, yeah that's how much I love it.

No puedo dejar de reírme ahora mismo...omg!, Jejeje, estoy muy emocionada y ciertamente feliz. ¿Puede una película darte ese efecto?, Bueno esta ciertamente lo hizo.

Debo decir que no sabía qué esperar cuando vi las fotos del rodaje en twitter en la página de Kelvin Hart, y ciertamente no estaba seguro de cómo sería el combo Él y Woody Harrelson, pero el tenía mucha curiosidad por ver lo que nos tenían reservado.

Siempre había creído que Dwayne Johnson y Kelvin eran un gran dúo, la naturaleza divertida y juguetona de Kelvin Hart mezclada con la naturaleza ronca y bastante directa de Dwayne era un equilibrio perfecto y ciertamente uno para disfrutar pero entonces cuando vi a Woody, el tipo de Carnage, lol, ciertamente supe que esto iba a estar en algún lugar y he visto muchas películas de Woody y sé que es un gran actor, divertido cuando es necesario, aterrador y adorable cuando es necesario.

Lo que realmente me hizo cosquillas a mi fantasía fue ver que Kaley Cuoco era parte del elenco, siempre me ha encantado desde Big bang theory y aunque no tuvo un papel importante, ciertamente hizo lo suyo. Su voz con esas expresiones que da en realidad me pone la piel de gallina y debo decir que fue agradable y cuando la emparejas con la deliciosa Jasmine Mathews hombres eso es algo.

Jasmine interpretando a Lori era el papel perfecto. Ella es hermosa, y ciertamente era algo para mirarla. Me encantó lo gentil que era y su sonrisa en realidad refleja lo mucho que amaba a su Teddy, lol. Todo cayó en su lugar perfectamente y debo decir que realmente no sabía qué esperar, no vi ningún tráiler y ciertamente no sabía de qué se trataba la historia, pero entonces mi amigo del cine vino al rescate y casi grité cuando me dijo que la tenía, entonces usé la mejor parte de hoy para verla en pedazos, porque no quería que terminara.

Argumento

Cuenta la historia de un tipo (Teddy) que está tan ilusionado con sacudir el mundo con sus grandes ideas, que tiene una esposa encantadora que le anima en todo momento. Sube su idea para que el mundo la vea, pero parece que todo el mundo no ve lo que él ve y se encuentra con que pierde su trabajo en el cumpleaños de su mujer.

Tratando de sacudirse y asegurándose de que éste iba a ser el mejor cumpleaños que ella iba a tener, paga una cabaña y la lleva de viaje. Aquí es donde todo se empieza a ir a la mierda, jeje. Acaba mezclando las cosas y va a la cabaña equivocada donde conoce a un grupo de tíos que creen que es quien no es.

Aquí es donde empieza la aventura y se ve mezclado en una situación mortal, una que involucra una bomba mortal y el pulgar de un tipo y mucha, mucha violencia. Pasa de una situación buena a otra más grave y cada vez hay más acción.

¿Quién es el hombre de Toronto?, Nadie sabe realmente su identidad. ¿Se descubrirá finalmente?, Bueno, no lo sé, tendrás que ir a verlo tú mismo, jajaja.

Mejor escena

¿Cómo puedo tener sólo una mejor escena en una película como ésta? Hubo muchas escenas que realmente hicieron cosquillas a mi fantasía, pero primero empezó con el drama en el avión donde Kelvin conoce a Woody por primera vez. Hubo muchas charlas divertidas, jeje. Kelvin Hart está realmente loco, jeje, él mata este para mí y me mantiene riendo duro.

Otra escena fue el segundo interrogatorio donde hace más de hablar que apenas de actuar y entonces tuve que ver a un hombre adulto hacer lo que hacen los niños pequeños, jajaja. Desde luego fue algo que no pude ver venir.

Reflexiones finales

Creo que Netflix y Sony se unieron para crear magia. Aunque el argumento es algo que no siempre vemos, creo que realmente lo retrataron bien. Hubo muchas escenas divertidas y suficiente acción para lograr un equilibrio. Lo disfruté a pesar de que había algunas escenas que parecían casi imposibles o improbables, pero es una película, no puedes esperar que sea como la vida real.

Kelvin Hart como siempre mata la función para mí, con su humor loco y debo decir que es excepcional, así que muchos elogios para el pequeño hombre. Creo que el CGI no fue muy excesivo, supongo que tendré que volver a verla para notar algunos fallos más pero en general fue una gran película, la disfruté totalmente y os la recomiendo. Es una película que hay que ver. La califico con un 9 de 10, sí, así me gusta.
