Hello bloggers, how are you? today I come to show you my latest illustration, it is a portrait in this semi-realistic, is inspired by the tranquility of the beautiful and fluffy clouds. This time I have returned to do what I like so much, which is a delicate piece that expresses tranquility. I have been trying different styles because I really like to try new things. So I tell you how it was to make this illustration and as always I tell you what was the step by step.

Hola blogueros, ¿Cómo están? el día de hoy les vengo a mostrar mi ultima ilustración, es un retrato en este semi-realista, esta inspirado en la tranquilidad de las bellas y esponjosas nubes. Esta vez he vuelto hacer lo que tanto me gusta, que es una pieza delicada y que expresa tranquilidad, ya que vengo probando distintos estilos pues me gusta mucho probar cosas nuevas. Así que te cuento como fue hacer esta ilustración y como siempre te cuento cual fue el paso a paso.

⚪ Process/ Proceso

To make this drawing I imagined a girl between clouds and a bird at her side, my idea was also that she had flowers instead of pupils in her eyes, I didn't quite harmonize the idea, so I left her eyes blank, I hope it doesn't make her look too strange. Other than that I didn't want to incorporate many elements, so that she would look natural and fresh.

Para hacer este dibujo imagine a una chica entre nubes y un ave a su costado, mi idea también era que tuviese flores en vez de pupilas en sus ojos, no termino de armonizar bien la idea, por ello le deje sus ojos en blanco espero que no la haga ver muy extraña. A parte de eso no quise incorporar muchos elementos, para que se viese natural y fresca.

As for the tones I used on this occasion, I used cool tones for her skin and hair and most of the illustration. I love the result of using these tones, and the truth is that it has become one of my favorite palettes, as soon as I have the opportunity I will continue using it. For her hair I tried several tones, my idea was that the white would be perfect, but the sky would make her lose the highlights Xd is my constant fear, to think about what tones to use in the portrait taking into account what will be the final tone of the background and the elements that I will integrate there, so I added a dark purple tone and so I could be sure that the background would be clear and it would not be a big problem.

En cuanto a los tonos que use en esta ocasión, usé tonos fríos para su piel y cabello y gran parte de la ilustración. Me encanta el resultado que da utilizar estos tonos, y la verdad se ha vuelto una de mis paletas favoritas, en cuanto tenga oportunidad la seguiré usando. Para su cabello Probé con varios tonos, mi idea era que el blanco le iba a quedar perfecto, pero el cielo le iba a hacer perder las luces Xd es mi miedo constante la verdad, pensar en que tonos utilizar en el retrato teniendo muy en cuenta cual va a ser el tono final del fondo y los elementos que voy a integrar allí, así que agregue un tono purpura oscuro y así podía estar seguro que el fondo iba a ser claro y no iba a pasar mayor problema.

For the little bird, I followed these cold tones. I incorporated those grayish blues to vary the tone a little and so the bird would stand out a little more and not only the girl would call the attention. I wanted to take the visual tour to both and not just to one, well I know if I explain myself well XD. well the fact is that I am very happy with the result I feel that it gives a more magical touch to the girl, I feel that separately they will not shine as much as they do together.

Para el pequeño ave. igual seguí estos tonos fríos. incorpore esos azules grisáceos para variar un poco el tono y que así el ave resaltara un poco mas y que no solo la chica llamase la atención. quería llevar el recorrido visual a ambos y no a uno solo, bueno se si me explico bien XD. bueno el hecho es que quede muy conforme con el resultado siento que le da un toque mas mágico a la chica, siento que por separado no brillaran tanto como lo hacen juntos.

To finish I added a texture of clouds to give the image that is posing between the clouds, it was not easy but I could achieve it, I added some birds flying in the distance getting closer and closer to make more clear that it is a sky. Another thing is that the atmosphere I gave it is of a cloudy sky and not that beautiful clear sky that we are all used to that is beautiful, cloudy and gray skies can also be, it just depends on how we see them.

Para finalizar agregue unas textura de nubes para dar la imagen que esta posando de entre las nubes , no fue nada fácil pero pude lograrlo, sume unos pájaros volando en la lejanía acercándose cada vez mas para dejar mas sentado que es un cielo. Otra cosa es que el ambiente que le di es de un cielo nublado y no ese cielo hermoso despejado que todos estamos acostumbrados a que es hermoso, los cielos nublados y grises también pueden serlo, solo depende de como los veamos.
