Today I wanted to draw a new and very cute card, it was a little difficult because there are three characters at the same time and I had to do everything in parts, I tell you how was the process to draw the crew LILY SHIELDPAW and the step by step as always.

Hola blogueros, espero estén bien, hoy les traigo mi nueva entrada de la semana para @splinterlands art contest. Hoy he querido dibujar una carta nueva y muy cute, fue un poco difícil porque son tres personajes al mismo tiempo y tuve que hacer todo por partes, te cuento como fue el proceso para dibujar al crew LILY SHIELDPAW y el paso a paso como siempre.

OK, for the part of the sketch was the most complicated I think because I had to fragment each character in a canvas to be able to locate well and that the proportion of the body of all was the same, clear that some are chubbier than others due to the species but still all should have like a body pattern, I tried a few days ago these characters in another scene but it did not work and then with this one I was left.

OK, para la parte del boceto fue lo mas complicado creo yo porque tuve que fragmentar cada personaje en un lienzo para poder ubicar bien y que la proporción del cuerpo de todos fuese la misma, claro que unos son mas gorditos que otros debido a la especie pero igual todos debían tener como un patrón de cuerpo, intente hace unos días estos personajes en otra escena pero no funcionó y pues con esta me quede.

I recreated them as deities in the form of monks, since their lore says that they are creatures that have an intelligence that humans do not have and understand concepts of life better than us, that is to say they have an intelligence and power that we can only dream of having, so that was my idea to imagine them as powerful and wise monks, I was very inspired by the Japanese culture.

los recree como unas deidades en forma de monje, ya que su lore dice que son criaturas que tiene una inteligencia que el humano no tiene y entienden conceptos de la vida mejor como nosotros, es decir tienen una inteligencia y poder que nosotros solo podemos soñar con tener, así que esa fue mi idea imaginarlos como unos monjes poderosos y sabios, me inspire mucho el la cultura japonesa.

The color stage was also a bit complicated because as I mentioned in previous posts, splinterlands characters are painted in a very different way than the conventional one. So they use the backlighting and shadows as a way to make the own anatomy and details of the animal or person, and I had to go more or less on that side too. paint the characters not with a specific skin tone but rather imagining what would be the lights that they would have around them and from there shapes their fur and so on. For the background I put a wall with Chinese and Japanese motifs because I wanted to complement the theme of the characters being powerful monks. tell me what you thought of this fan art.

En cuento a la etapa de color fue también un poco complicado porque como comente en posts anteriores, los personajes de splinterlands están pintados de manera muy distinta a la convencional. Así que utilizan las contraluces y sombras como forma de hacer la propia anatomía y detalles del animal o persona, y tuve que ir mas o menos por ese lado también. pintar los personajes no con un tono de piel especifico si no mas bien imaginando cuales serian las luces que tendrían al rededor y de ahí formas su pelaje y demás. Para en fondo coloque una pared con motivo chinos y japoneses porque quería complementar con la temática de los personajes de ser monjes poderosos. cuéntame que te ha parecido este fan art.
