Hello bloggers, how are you? Today I come to show you a semi-realistic portrait inspired by the circus and puppets. I am very very happy with this drawing because it came out exactly as I imagined it, besides the fact that I like to keep experimenting with new techniques, it is also the fact of having this alternate style to mine that both have become my favorite, I tell you how it was to make this piece and the step by step as always, let's go there.

Hola blogueros, ¿Cómo están? Él día de hoy vengo a mostrarles un retrato semi-realista inspirado en el circo y las marionetas. Estoy muy muy contento con este dibujo porque ha salido exactamente como lo imagine, además de que seguir experimentando con técnicas nuevas me gusta, también es el hecho de tener este estilo alterno al mío que igualmente los dos se han convertido en mis favorito, te cuento como fue hacer esta pieza y el paso a paso como siempre, vamos allá.

⚪ Process/ Proceso

This time in the sketch I have been inspired by the circus, maybe this will become a mini series of drawings inspired by this beautiful show, for this edition I have made a circus puppet girl expressing various sensations with her look, I wanted to express some concern and also mischief, or rather that she looks a little sexy, also with a makeup inspired by the circus and her tattoos to finish giving her the touch a little rebellious that I had in mind.

Esta vez en el boceto me he inspirado en el circo, puede que esto se convierta en una mini serie de dibujos inspirados en este hermoso espectáculo, para esta edición he hecho una chica títere del circo expresando varias sensaciones con su mirada, quería expresar algo de inquietud y también picardía, o mejor dicho que se ve viera un poco sexy, también con un maquillaje inspirado en el circo y sus tatuajes para terminar de darle el toque un poco rebelde que tenia pensado.

I have taken the decision to conserve in this style of drawing, the palettes of cold tones, perhaps as each drawing I may incorporate warm tones or I may just change them completely, the truth is that meanwhile I feel very comfortable with these tones, I can express that softness that I like to have when painting, I know how to explain it, it must be because I associate these tones with something calmer as dictated by the same tones. In this drawing the color violet predominates with some shades of wine color.

He tomado la decisión de conservar en este estilo de dibujo, las paletas de tono frio, quizá a medida de cada dibujo pueda que vaya incorporando tonos cálidos o puede que solo los cambie totalmente, lo cierto es que mientras tanto me siento muy cómodo con estos tonos, puedo expresar esa suavidad que me gusta tener a la hora de pintar, se como explicarlo, debe ser porque asocio estos tonos con algo mas calmado como lo dictan los mismo tonos. En este dibujo predomina el color violeta y con algunas sombras de color vino.

These ideas of circus things come to me very often, and self-analyzing I do not think that this is coincidence the truth is that I have (Coulrophobia) which is the irrational fear of clowns, it is something strange that being afraid of these characters calls my attention at the same time what concerns them, so I think that the next work of this mini series will be a clown or a harlequin, although the harlequins do not really scare me, well the truth is that with this girl I try to express the feeling that many of the people who work there must feel, the fear of not being able to be free as such, to be locked up all the time, although the truth is that many of them like their profession and are passionate about it.

Estas idea de cosas circenses vienen a mi muy seguido, y autoanalizándome no creo que eso sea coincidencia la verdad es que tengo (Coulrofobia) que es el miedo irracional a los payasos, es algo extraño que teniéndole miedo a estos personajes me llame la atención al mismo tiempo lo referente a ellos, por ello creo que la siguiente obra de esta mini serie será un payaso o un arlequín, aunque los arlequines no me dan miedo en realidad, buen lo cierto es que con esta chica trate de expresar el sentimiento que muchas de las personas que trabajan allí deben sentir, el miedo a no poder ser libres como tal, a estar encerrados todo el tiempo, aunque la verdad es que muchos de ellos les gusta su profesión y les apasiona.

Finally for the background of this portrait, first I wanted to make a circus in the background with lots of lights, but I realized that it didn't fit well with the girl's face, so I incorporated this tent frame in the same tones with a circus frame as well, I definitely feel that it gave the final touch that was missing. I really liked this drawing and I think it's one of my favorites XD. What did you think of it? I'd like to know your opinion.

Finalmente para el fondo de este retrato, primero quise hacer un circo el el fondo con muchas luces, pero me di cuenta que no encajaba bien con el rostro de la chica, así que incorpore esta trama de carpa en los mismos tonos con un marco circense también, definitivamente siento que le dio el toque final que le faltaba. Me ha gustado mucho este dibujo y creo que es uno de mis favoritos XD. ¡ que te ha parecido? me gustaría saber tu opinión.
