Hello bloggers, Today I bring you a new illustration of children's book inspired by the night and the shades of colors, this illustration is more a practice of color and the combination between them for this time I did not want to focus much on the shapes or lights if not rather thanks to the colors create a harmony of shapes and that was pleasing to the eye. I tell you how it was made and the step by step.

Hola blogueros, El día de hoy les traigo una nueva ilustración de libro para niños inspirada en Las noche y los matices de colores, esta ilustración es mas una practica de color y la combinación entre ellos para esta vez no he querido concentrarme mucho en las formas ni las luces si no mas bien en gracias a los colores crear una armonía de formas y que fuera agradable a la vista. te cuento como fue hacerla y el paso a paso.

For the sketch and idea of this illustration I have taken as a reference my teapot Xd I already did this once as a practice, taking as a reference some object from home and I think I could do it again and more often seems to me something very practical to learn better to understand the forms with an object that is 100% palpable. the meaning is simple a house in the form of a teapot and the nozzle works as a chimney I had already seen some works of my favorite artists using the parts of an object and imagining them as something else with a totally different function.

Para el boceto e idea de esta ilustración he tomado como referencia mi tetera Xd ya esto lo hice en una ocasión en manera de practica, el tomar como referencia algún objeto de casa y pienso que podría hacerlo de nuevo y mas seguido me parece algo muy practico para aprender mejor a entender las formas con un objeto que sea 100% palpable. el significo es simple una casa en forma de tetera y la boquilla funciona como chimenea ya había visto algunos trabajos de mis artistas favoritos utilizando las partes de un objeto e imaginándolas como otra cosa con una función totalmente distinta.

For color palette this time I have researched about colors and I found that to express light and shadows or some specific time of day there are always colors that help you to achieve it, I have found that wine and brown are very good colors to express darkness at night without the need to put a black or a very dark blue. These two colors go very well with the pastel cream color so I combined them in a way to express the shapes the way I wanted, at first I was afraid it would be too black but I think these colors helped me to achieve that night time I wanted in this drawing.

Para paleta de color en esta ocasión he investigado acerca de los colores y me encontré que para expresar luz y sombras o alguna hora en especifico de día siempre hay colores que te ayudan a conseguirlo, me he encontrado que el color vino y marrón son muy buenos colores para expresar oscuridad nocturna sin necesidad de colocar un negro o un azul muy oscuro. Estos dos colores van muy bien con el color crema pastel así que los combiné de una manera que expresaran las formas de la manera que yo quería, al principio temí que quedara muy negro pero creo que esos colores me ayudaron a alcanzar esa hora nocturna que deseaba en este dibujo.

A point that I would recommend when using these dark color palettes is that you have to take care of the way you group them, although it is true that if you place two tones you will notice the difference in hue, it can also happen that due to the high amount of gray black they can be visually lost and that is not something we want in our work because the purpose is that the person who observes your illustration can see and appreciate the work without much effort. I really liked this color practice. Tell me what you thought.

Un punto que recomendaría yo a la hora de utilizar estas paletas de color oscuras es que hay que cuidar la manera en que los agrupamos si bien es cierto que si colocas dos tonos se va a notar la diferencia de matiz, también puede pasar que por la alta cantidad de negro gris que tengan estos se pueden perder visualmente y eso no es algo que queramos en nuestros trabajos porque el fin es que la persona que observa tu ilustración pueda ver y apreciar la obra sin esforzarse mucho. Me ha gustado mucho esta practica de color. cuéntame que te ha parecido.
