Hello bloggers I hope you are very well, today taking advantage of some free time I have come to bring you a new illustration of a children's book that took me a few days to finish XD, because of my studies I only have free time and I take the opportunity to not abandon my personal practices. This time telling once again a story and practicing especially new color palettes, trying more and more to harmonize the colors and make my illustration better every day. I'll tell you a little about how it was done and the basis for the color palette. Let's start...

Hola bloggers espero estén muy bien, hoy aprovechando un tiempo libre he venido a traerles una ilustración nueva de libro infantil que me tomo algunos días terminar XD, por mis estudios solo tengo momentos libres y aprovecho de no abandonar mis practicas personales. Esta vez contando una vez mas una historia y practicando sobre todo nuevas paletas de color. tratar cada vez mas de armonizar los colores y hacer que mejore cada día mas mi ilustración. te cuento un poco como fue hacerla y la base para la paleta de color. Empecemos...

The sketch was very fast because I had the idea in my head several days ago, so the sketching process was very fluid, I even think I could make a small series with different monsters and thus see different forms and different scenarios in which to place them. For the story, and I hope the drawing reflects it well, is that a girl every day after leaving school meets a big hairy monster in the depths of the forest and always comes out at the bus stop.

El boceto fue muy rápido porque tenia la idea rondando en mi cabeza varios días atrás, así que el proceso de boceto fue muy fluido, incluso pienso que podría hacer una pequeña serie con distintos monstruos y así ver distintas formas y distintos escenarios en los que ubicarles. Para la historia y espero que el dibujo lo refleje bien, es que una niña todos los días al salir de la escuela se encuentra a un gran monstruo peludo e las profundidades del bosque y siempre sale en la parada de bus.

She tries to ignore him because they never talk but every day without fail the monster is there waiting for her at the same time, I wanted to make him hidden in the forest to reflect that mystery that many times the forests hide and also that it seems to me super magical that sometimes what is hidden is much more magical than what we can see, at some point in some story of this drawing I would like to tell that.

Ella trata de ignorarle porque nunca hablan pero todo los días sin faltas el monstruo esta allí esperándola a la misma hora, quise hacerle escondido en el bosque para reflejar ese misterio que ocultan mucha veces los bosques además que me parece super mágico que veces lo que esta escondido es mucho mas mágico que lo que podemos ver, en algún momento en alguna historia de este dibujo me gustaría contar eso.

In the color palette, I wanted to harmonize a contrast of marine colors and bring them to a land environment, the blues and turquoise greens that I used, are colors that I normally use in drawings in the water, and I thought it was interesting to mix them in this drier environment Xd, I clarify that this is a personal opinion and that these tones are what they make me feel, as I study the colors, this is what I have found.

En la paleta de color, quise armonizar un contraste de colores marinos y traerlos a un ambiente de tierra, los azules y verdes turquesas que utilicé, son colores que normalmente empleo en dibujos dentro del agua, y me pareció interesante mezclarlos en esta ambiente mas seco Xd, aclaro que es una opinión personal y que estos tonos es lo que me hacen sentir a mi, a medida que voy estudiando los colores, con esto me he encontrado.

To finish I gave textures to all the leaves and the monster, I'm still studying how I could make this better and also give a variety to those strokes to achieve different sensations and textures. Let me know what you thought and if you would like to see a part two of this series.

Para finalizar di texturas a todas las hojas y al monstruo, aun estoy estudiando como podría hacer que esto mejore y darle también una variedad a esos trazos para lograr diferentes sensaciones y texturas. cuéntame que te ha parecido y si te gustaría ver una parte dos de esta serie.
