Сьогодні хочу згадати відпустку 2021 року, коли ми трохи помандрували Європою. Я вже писав раніше про цю мандрівку до Чорногорії, але не встиг розповісти навіть про те, як ми дісталися кінцевого пункту призначення. Цьому причиною стала повномасштабне вторгнення божевільного східного сусіда і на довгі два роки стало не до дописів.

Today I want to remember the vacation of 2021, when we traveled a little through Europe. I already wrote about this trip to Montenegro before, but I didn't even have time to tell about how we got to our final destination. The reason for this was the full-scale invasion of the crazy eastern neighbor, and for two long years there was no post.

Завдяки героїчним зусиллям ЗСУ тепер ми маємо нагоду принаймні згадувати минуле мирне життя і сподіватися на таке життя в майбутньому. При цьому закликаю всіх допомагати збройним силам максимально, як тільки можливо.

Thanks to the heroic efforts of the Armed Forces, we now have the opportunity to at least remember the past peaceful life and hope for such a life in the future. At the same time, I urge everyone to help the armed forces as much as possible.

Отже в липні 2021 року дорогою до Чорногорії ми опинилися в Сербії, а саме в місті Ужице. Про це місто я вже писав, а зараз покажу річку Детину, яка протікає по Ужице.

So, in July 2021, on the way to Montenegro, we ended up in Serbia, namely in the city of Užice. I already wrote about this city here. And now I will show the river Detyna, which flows through Uzhice.

Ця річка бере свій початок в горах Тара, на схилах Златібора. Її довжина відносно невелика – біля 75 км. Тече вона із заходу на схід і неподалік від сербського міста Пожега при злитті з річкою Моравиця створює річку Західна Морава. Детина відноситься до басейну найбільшої річки Європи – Дунаю.

This river originates in the Tara Mountains, on the slopes of Zlatibor. Its length is relatively short - about 75 km. It flows from west to east and near the Serbian city of Požega, when it merges with the Moravica River, it creates the Zahidna Morava River. Detyna belongs to the basin of the largest river in Europe - the Danube.

Назва можливо походить від того, що турки-османи під час боротьби з місцевим населенням кидали у воду дітей.

The name may come from the fact that the Ottoman Turks threw children into the water during the struggle with the local population.
