Going to be giving DTUBE another shot!

Good Afternoon community

So recently I finally purchased A webcam for the PC and will soon make A start at recording some kind of video content.

I have been having issues recently with #threespeak wanting to go down whenever I upload so this got me thinking.

I decided to log back into #DTube I haven't been on that sit at all since #threespeak came along.

It looks like lots have changed not sure whether they are good or bad changes but lots of interesting changes.

in terms of the platform when I did use it, I liked it it was my number one video site however it did have its uploading problems that bugged me every now and then which is why I switched to #threespeak because of issues didn't accure as much in fact hardly ever... Until recently.

This is in no way A rant towards the team on 3speak they are hard workers but I just want to give another platform A go.

It will also help me in do this now so when I get my new phone in the near future I will already have A platform in mind to upload my short form media content whether its #dtube or #threespeak or an entirely new platform on #hive who knows.

If you are A creator on one or both of these platforms I would gladly like to hear your thoughts you might have.

Whether its pros/cons to each or personal opinions please get in touch in the comments.

Best of luck to you. I had nothing but issues with DTube. Of course that was quite some time ago and I never posted my own content. I just know I could never get people's videos to load. It was a pain. It sounds like they have made some improvements, so definitely let us know how it goes!

Hope the switch works out well for you. does dtube still delete videos after a certain period of time? That was why I stopped using it. I’m currently unable to access my 3speak account as I’ve forgot my password and can’t retrieve it due to outlook and gmail blocking 3speak which means I can’t do a reset. It’s very frustrating. Hopefully it will get sorted as I really like 3speak.

it seems If the video doesn't earn enough it does get removed after so many months however it doesn't seem like you have to earn lots on it for it to stay. best bet is too probably post to both dtube and something like YouTube just to be safe

Oh ok, well that’s changed enough to get me interested. Ideally, I want to avoid having to use YouTube all together. Hopefully 3speak will sort things out but good to know dtube has improved. Thanks for the info
