My trusted hairdresser was on vacation, so I had to try out a new one. Actually, that's not entirely true. My trusted hairdresser used to work at a small chain, and after he set up his own business, I, of course, remained his customer. However, my hair had gotten very long and I urgently needed a haircut, so I went to his former apprentice's shop. The sides are a bit too short, but I somehow like it - makes me look younger :P

By the way, if you pay attention to my smartphone in the photo, you might notice a small detail near the camera lenses: something is rather untidily cut out under the left lens. It looks silly, I know, but there's a specific reason for it. The case of my iPhone covers the LIDAR sensor. The iPhone uses this, among other things, to focus photos correctly. After about a year of use, I noticed that the photos were often blurry or incorrectly focused. After taking the smartphone out of the case, I noticed the sensor and, surprisingly, my case did not have a suitable hole for it. Therefore, my iPhone could never access it or use it for focus assistance - annoying.

The case is quite robust, so I took a utility knife and cut out the necessary part. Anyone who has tried to cut out a small circle with a knife knows what the end result looks like. Just as square as in my picture. Maybe I should have just drilled it. But of course, take out the smartphone first.

Der Friseur meines Vertrauens hat Urlaub - also musste ich einen neuen ausprobieren. Eigentlich stimmt das nicht so ganz, der Friseur meines Vertrauens hat damals in einer kleinen Kette gearbeitet, nachdem er sich selbstständig gemacht hat bin ich ihm als Kunde natürlich erhalten geblieben. Da meine Haare aber sehr lang geworden sind, musste ich dringend zum Friseur, also bin ich zu seinem ehemaligen Auszubildenden in den Laden.
Die Seiten sind etwas sehr kurz geworden, gefällt mir aber irgendwie - lässt mich jünger wirken :P

Wer bei dem Foto übrigens auf mein Smartphone achtet, wird bei den Kameralinsen vielleicht ein kleines Detail bemerken: Unter der linken Linse ist etwas recht unsauber ausgeschnitten. Sieht doof aus ich weiss, hat aber einen bestimmten Grund.
Die Smartphonehülle verdeckt den LIDAR-Sensor meines iPhones. Das iPhone benutzt dies unter anderem um Fotos richtig scharf zustellen. Mir ist nach knapp 1 Jahr Benutzung aufgefallen, dass die Fotos nicht selten unscharf waren oder falsch fokussiert.
Nachdem ich das Smartphone aus der Hülle genommen habe, ist mir der Sensor aufgefallen und überraschender Weise hat meine Hülle kein passendes Loch dafür gehabt. Dementsprechend konnte mein iPhone nie auf diesen zugreifen oder als Fokusunterstützung nutzen - ärgerlich.
Die Hülle ist recht robust, also habe ich mir ein Teppichmesser genommen und das ganze passend ausgeschnitten. Wer schonmal versucht hat mit einem Messer einen kleinen Kreis auszuschneiden, der weiss wie es am Ende aussieht. Genauso eckig wie auf meinem Bild. Vielleicht hätte ich einfach Bohren sollen. Das Smartphone aber natürlich vorher rausholen.
