In The Church Of God. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW

The church, as we know, is the family of God. It is the household of God. We are the children of God (John 1:12 (KJV) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:) God is our Father (1 John 3:1 (KJV) Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.)
In the house of God, we have certain rules and principles that govern our conducts and activities. These rules are the doctrines and commandments of God, (1 Timothy 3:15 (KJV) But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.)

The teachings of the doctrines as conducted by the MCGI Cares in the Mass Indoctrination taken by Bro Eli Soriano, unveils to us the truth as it is written in the Bible regarding how we should live and conduct ourselves in the church of God. Bro Eli Soriano has done justice to this in reminding us of the true doctrines of Jesus Christ as written in the Bible.

Matthew 28:20 (KJV) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We Listen To The Teachings OfJesus Christ

When we come to the church, we listen to the teachings of Jesus Christ as it is written in the Bible. These teachings are the commandments of God. God gave these commandments to a Jesus Christ and commanded us to hear him, (Matthew 17:5 (KJV) While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.)
We should obey God not our feelings. We should obey God not our traditions. We should obey God not what is trending in the world. God has commanded us to listen to Jesus. There is no other teacher approved by God to teach us the ways of God. Listening to others will mean listening to false prophets.

2 Peter 2:1 (KJV) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Who Are You Listening To?

Today is Sunday, a day of worship as known world over. Where did you go to worship God? Where you in a church which is the true church of God or did you follow men who uses the name of God for mechanized? Who did you listen to? Where you taught the true doctrines of God? Be sure that you fellowship in the true church of God where you will be taught nothing but the truth from God's Word.
