We are offered several blessings by nature. Air we breathe is a blessing as well as the water we drink, all are the blessings of nature. The crust upon which we walk as well as the bright sun shine we enjoy, all are the beautiful blessings nature offers. Considering the siblings we play with as well as colleagues and friends all are the blessings we enjoy from nature.

Nature is such a loving mother who nurtures and cares for her offspring. It is a benevolent father who makes ready every needed provision for the children. When a generous father! It is a friendly associate who always stands up to support his friend. Nature is good; nature is kind.

Looking at the non-living components of nature we will observe the vast natural resources nature has blessed us with. Time will not even afford us the opportunity to enumerate the various useful and economically important mineral resources we derive from nature.

What about the animal kingdom? Have you ever sit back to imagine how some wild lives are so endowed with natural strength like the lion, the eagle and others? Can you see the endless beauty of nature? The wealth of nature is exceedingly great!

Let us look at the plant resources. Can't you see that our sustenance comes from the plant kingdom? Virtually all our energy sources are plant products. Thanks to nature for such great blessings.

In my picture, you will see the image of a cassava plant. Cassava is our staple food in the Western African region. Considering the numerous benefits we obtain from the cassava plant, I come to the conclusion that we are blessed by nature. In the face of economic inflation, farmers are not malnourished or hungry because cassava is a common crop in their farm. Cassava produce has been a great source of food for both human and domestic animals.

Let us appreciate the blessings of nature.
