Desde que yo tengo uso de razón, en mi hogar mis padres se han encargado toda la vida de llevar a cabo la planificación y preparación para celebrar estas fiestas Decembrina, comenzando desde ir al mercado municipal de la ciudad de Cumaná a realizar las compras como: la carne de res, el pernil, aceitunas, alcaparras, pasitas, los diferentes aliños que no pueden faltar para el exquisito guiso y las harinas para la masa de las hallacas también las hojas de plátano y el hilo pabilo para el amarre de las mismas al tener a la mano todos y cada uno de estos ingredientes procedemos 2 días antes del 24 de diciembre a comenzar a lavar y picar la carne de res, parte del pernil de igual manera que cada uno de los aliños y lo colocamos por separado en una bolsita hermética y en la nevera para su conservación luego al otro día, desde bien temprano mis padres comienza a realizar el guiso para nuestras hallaca y no puede saltar el rico pernil de cochino al horno en salsa. Uyy mis hermanos, desde bien temprano por todo el apartamento podemos disfrutar de ese delicioso olor característico de la Navidad a su vez se comienza a amasar y a realizar las diferentes bolitas de la masa de igual manera que a limpiar cada una de las hojas de plátano y al tener todo listo colocamos todo en la mesa de centro de nuestro hogar y nos sentamos en la mesa para realizar la preparación de nuestras tradicionales y deliciosas hallacas.

Quiero acostar, que son tantos años en esta tradición gastronómica que lleva a cabo mi familia en el mes de diciembre que ya mi cuñada en conjunto con mi hermano y mis sobrinos, ya ellos tienen su vivienda propia y de igual manera también en su hogar simultáneamente que en la mía procedemos a realizar el preparado de nuestras deliciosas hallacas, en esta ocasión, fueron de carne con pernil pero de igual manera hicimos también algunas pocas de pollo para los que llevan una dieta como mi papá y mi persona ustedes saben mis amigos por cuestión de salud pero de igual manera que nos quedaron deliciosas.
