The special person in life.

Good day, amazing people of the Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #ladiesofhive community. Show us photos of the person you shared the most with this past year, the one who was by your side through thick and thin. Tell us a little about that special person.

It is a thing of joy if you have someone that will stand with you in difficult moments. You are so lucky, and you should value and treasure such a person because their kind is very hard to come by. I am so grateful for the special person in my life; she means a lot to me, and I can never trade her for anything. She is my support system. I am so happy penning down about the special person in my life. Most times I sit and ask myself what life will be without this woman in my life. She has really been a blessing to me.

If I must say, I love this week's prompts; it is the best for me because it gives us the opportunity to celebrate those special people in our lives. Waking up this morning, I can't just stop thanking God for blessing me with my mom. This person has been with me right from when I was still in her stomach. She has made the world I exist in meaningful and colourful, and I have nothing to worry about because she is always there for me. I call her my woman king. Everything about my mom inspires me. When I look at how strong she is, I always pray to my creator to keep her for me.

This prompt made me remember the sacrifice this woman has made just for me to be where I am today. After my dad's death, there was no money for me to continue with my education, and I was in my final year. No family member was ready to help my mom. On the other hand, she has used all her money for my dad's treatments and funeral. When I told my mom that I don’t think I can continue with my education because we are not financially stable, she assured me that I will finish my education no matter what.

The next day she called me and handed over my school fees to me, and when I asked her where the money was coming from, she told me that she sold her wedding ring to pay my school fees. At that moment I couldn’t control my tears because I know how precious that wedding ring is to my mom.

Even as I graduated from university, life has not been fair. I was able to overcome many challenges because I have someone who always motivates me and gives me words of encouragement. Even in my darkest moments, she is always there for me.

I have really bonded with this special person in my life; I call her my strength. I find comfort in her, for once I have never regretted having her in my life. I have always told myself i will be a good daughter to love, adore her and make her proud.
