This week in the movie world, 'Land of Gold' has been trending. The plot follows a truck driver who hears pounding from his shipping container and finds a young Mexican-American girl. His already tumultuous life takes a drastic turn as he seeks to reunite her with her family. Sounds interesting! This drama stars Karen David, Tina Parker and Nardeep Khurmi. The film has a 1hr 45min running time and has a rating of 6.9 out of 10 stars on IMDb rating.

This week on Netflix, 'The Mother' has again taken the top spot of the Netflix trending. It has gotten 94.42 million hours of streaming this week. That's crazy! The film stars Jennifer Lopez and follows an assassin who flees from dangerous assailents and comes out of hiding to protect her daughter she left earlier in life. I am yet to watch this film but sounds interesting. I have so many in my watchlist on Netflix! Anyone else have that problem?

On streaming services this week, 'West Side Story' has been trending on Amazon Prime. The film, released in 1961, follows two youngsters from two rival gangs in New York fall in love but tension towards their close friends builds toward tragedy. Have you watched this classic? It stars Natalie Wood, George Chakiris and Richard Beymer. The run time is 2 hours and 30 minutes and is rated an A. It has also achieved 7.6 stars out of 10 on IMDb rating.

This week on Youtube, the trending topic has been K-Pop group ENHYPEN. They have just come out with their most recent comeback, an album called 'DARK BLOOD'. Although they aren't my top favourite K-Pop group, I still follow them and know some of their music. I have also seen a lot of positive feedback on their album and not a lot of negative. Their latest music video has also gotten a lot of positive feedback too. It has received 14 million views in just a day and is ranking #3 on the Youtube trending charts in the music category!

This week in the celebrity world, there has been a 'Celine' fashion show in Cannes, France. Many famous faces include Taehyung Kim, Lalisa Manobal and Naomi Campbell. It has been all over social media! Jimin Park (Member of BTS) has also just landed in the UK! I for one am so happy because he hasn't been here since 2019. I know many other members of the youth are also happy over this information.
