Introduction

I was personally really looking forward to the weekend, maybe even more so to Friday as I found out my boyfriend had almost zero work and could get some time off myself. This would have been amazing if we both didn't get a fever hours after I asked permission to lay low another day. Thank you for this, universe! We spent all Friday in bed or on the couch having a fever and even though we're clearly not over it, at least we both had a better sleep last night and can lower the feverish feelings with some paracetamol at least. I'm hoping this was the very last round of illness until fall arrives, as I really hate being non-productive, especially when it's happening on days when we could have done a road trip or something else fun. Anyway, let's see if I can inspire you with a few writing prompts today!

Road trip!

Thinking about road trips, I immediately think about a few movies I've seen over the past years where the theme was road trips between friends. I will not spit any titles here as I hope to inspire you to think back about one yourself so that you can share this in a review or just a comment below.

Whenever you have good weather and good company, a road trip should guarantee a good time. That is of course if nothing bad happens and the universe will not throw not any issues your way, such as car trouble or other unforeseen events.

Which was your favorite movie with the central theme being a road trip? Please do share, I can use one or two tips to get ourselves through the weekend binge-watching some cool movies!

Disney!

No matter how young or old we are currently, most likely we've all seen 1 or probably many more movies by Disney. Most of us probably have a favorite Disney movie as well, I remember absolutely loving "The little mermaid" as a child and I'm in luck as there is a modern version of this movie now. I'm curious if I still like the story as much as I did as a child because we all know these things change over time, or we look at the movies with a different set of (adult) eyes while back then we were just kids.

Which one is your favorite though? Please share in a post or comment below.

Musical

During my childhood, I was never the biggest fan of musicals to be completely honest. But I do know some of the famous musicals and I also started to appreciate the theme more when I grew older. If I had to pick one favorite, that's a bit hard because I'm pretty sure I have not seen any of the big productions on tv, and most definitely not live. I think when it comes to musicals it's probably best to have seen these productions in real life.

I had a friend who went to these shows a few times a year and she was very excited about most of them, and I even remember her visiting one twice as it was so good even though ticket prices were super high (even back then). I think I should make it something on my bucket list to find one musical to see live in the next year, any recommendations? Any favorites to share? Please do!

That's all for today, I hope I could inspire you to write something, enjoy the remaining part of your weekend, and see you next week!*
