Over the years I have noticed something about myself, something I find disturbing. Whenever I have a big event, celebration, or meeting and I plan tirelessly towards it I end up jinxing it.

In the past I have had episodes of events and celebrations that I was overly excited to attend, I always made sure everything was in order but on the D-day things always tend to go south...

Of Coffee & White Shirts || #STB Coffee Prompt Week 67 by @marlyncabrera

When our public university campus still existed, I wore one of my twelve or twenty white shirts at least twice a week for my classes. If you took my picture every day in my classroom or in my office, you'd have plenty of pictures of me wearing a white shirt.

Even today, when the campus has been lost in ruins and just as in Cortazar's "Casa tomada,", kicked out by wickedly organized delinquency, we've had to leave through the back door and throw the key down a sewer, I still have that thing for white shirts...

Accident involving coffee by @actioncats

We have all experienced accidents that have coffee at their center, some are related to coffee pots, perhaps with the coffee that is purchased, and others with spills of some kind, which I believe are the worst, especially if the coffee is hot, very hot.

In my case the spill accidents have had to do not directly with coffee baths, on the contrary, they have revolved around my lunch boxes and the containers in which I transport the coffee...

In the mid-seventies I finished my university studies, the next step was to get a job, which in my area was quite simple. I had studied teaching and at that time there were almost no certified teachers in the country, only three out of ten of us had a university degree.

That shortage of graduate teachers was much greater in the small towns, where sometimes there was not a single teacher who was at least studying. That is why the Ministry of Education offered the most jobs in those villages...

Spilling coffee can be a very common thing, in fact I think it has happened to some of us quite often. For me in particular it makes me very angry when this happens. On the one hand because it is such a waste and on the other hand because I usually get burned by the heat of the coffee.

In our day-to-day activities, we sometimes encounter some form of accidents. It does happen even if we are very careful but it happens more when we are careless.

My worst catastrophic spill happened when I was younger, I was very ill and unable to take in food. My mum was very concerned because I don't easily fall ill and when I do, I mostly eat more and take my medications. That has made it very easy for me to quickly get better...

Today the coffee goddesses asked us to talk about a catastrophic coffee spill, when I read this something came to my mind that happened to me years ago and I still remember it with humor and laughter, although at the time it was not like that.
