Here comes the beginning of a new season

Happy Midweek Splinters,

It’s a good day today and we are lucky over here that it didn’t rain today even though there were signs of rain but fortunately it wasn’t possible. Some lucky citizens in my city experience flooding when it rains and it’s not a good thing. From the news I read today our state Governor is making plans to create access for another drainage since the current one is not functioning well enough as it is supposed to. So hopefully that will be sorted in no time. Today when I logged into Splinterlands, I noticed the previous season has come to an end and I was able to stack up about 7508 GLINT before the end of the season. That’s a huge achievement for me cos my target was 6k. I’ve been able to play a couple battles this season in the Frontier league already and I haven’t been able to play in the Modern league yet since the league requires more time and attention and I’ve not been stable due to running around since morning. After spinning the wheel in the FRONTIER league daily streak wheelspin, I was able to claim 150 SPARKS plus 15 SPARKS.

I’ve started this season smoothly by winning battles in the FRONTIER league and I’ve won about five battles. After winning five battles for the day I was able to claim 2 RARE cards and a EPIC card. The cards were one ARCHON card and 2 Unit cards. Aside the cards, I also claimed two entries into the weekly Fortune draws. The name of the cards are as follows WATER-LOGGED WIZARD, GLIMMERMANCER and the INCESSANT SAGE. The first card was a RARE card , the second card was a EPIC card while the third card is a RARE card. I now have the time to play in the MODERN league this evening and will be doing that soon after I make this post. Today has been a bit stressful for me but I’m glad it has been successful. My target in the MODERN league for this month is 6000 GLINT as usual and I’m hoping to reach the goal and beyond before the end of the season like I did last season. Also, I’ll be combining some more cards tonight so this season can be a swell one. Let me go and see what I can do in the MODERN league now that the season is still fresh.
