Today Is Gubernatorial Elections In My State
Happy Weekend CitiGeng,
Today is the Gubernatorial and House of Representatives elections in my Country. So majority of people are at their various polling units exercising their civic rights. Incase you do not know, I am from the Southern Part of Nigeria in West Africa. It is a promising day today and I am very excited because a New Governor will be seating in my state and that candidate will be decided today.
We the masses really need a leader who will have the consciousness that he is on that seat to serve people who is his most important duty, give the masses listening ears, create job opportunities and empowerment schemes to better the lives of the masses.
I have my own preferred candidate and hopefully he wins. As an entertainer, I support any candidate who will empower entertainers and understand that music is life. That can only come from someone who is aware of the role we musicians play in the society.
Once my new Governor is announced. I will make a Congratulatory post on Hive for him and also give you guys the summary of how the elections went.
