Art is the journey of a free soul - Water color painting

I believe I am a free soul wandering around on the journey of art. The destination is far far away and the roads maybe rough sometimes but I will reach there someday. But its not all about the destination, its also about the journey the paths that lead there.

I always feel ease and peace when I look at this painting. It reminds me of my childhood when I used to sit on the edge of my old house and watch the sun setting in the far plains. After the sunset there was a golden glow left in the sky which then faded into different colors as the twilight turns to darkness. The golden orange sky took away all the pain of the day and made me at ease and at peace.

I wanted to add more colors in the sky of my painting but my skills didnot comply with my imagination and I ended up messing it up. I had to do few modifications on the painting but at the end I loved the first one more.
