Titanic Duel: Kain Hace vs Quora [ENG/ESP]

Fighting against Quora is one of the biggest challenges we can find in Splinterlands, and if we don't have a Quora on our side we can say it's a lost battle, this card is extremely difficult to defeat, it has 11 health points, 3 speed points and double attack, one of them is magic and the other physical attack, both with +2. As for her abilities, the dreaded bloodlust and self healing, all this in her initial level, and that's where I'm going to focus because I have faced her every time in that level. If you don't know who I'm talking about, Quora is considered the most powerful card in the whole game, it can only be obtained in the Gladius card packs related to the Brawls, you can't buy or sell it, you can only play with it or against it, but if you have it on your side it's quite difficult to lose.

In this opportunity I had to fight against it, and I must say that it was an epic battle, a titanic duel thanks to the intervention of Kain Hace, the most recent card added to the game. This monster of the splinter of death comes with an imposing presence, it seems to absorb the soul of his opponents or control spirits at will, besides that it has 3 points of magic to further strengthen its element, in addition to that it has +2 speed and 2 points of life. Due to the latter, its use is a bit complex, but thanks to its abilities it can be used very well. In this sense we can highlight the explosion as an offensive skill and the explosion shield as a defensive skill, the first of them produces adjacent damage to opponents and the second cancels the damage received by this type of attacks.

Luchar contra Quora es uno de los mayores desafíos que podemos encontrar en Splinterlands, y si no tenemos una Quora de nuestro lado se puede decir que es una batalla perdida, esta carta es sumamente difícil de derrotar, tiene 11 puntos de vida, 3 puntos de velocidad y doble ataque, uno de ellos es magia y el otro ataque físico, ambos con +2. En cuanto a sus habilidades, la temida bloodlust y la auto curación, todo esto en su nivel inicial, y allí es donde me voy a enfocar porque la he enfrentado todas las veces en ese nivel. Si no sabes de quien te estoy hablando, Quora es considerada la carta más poderosa de todo el juego, solo se puede obtener en los packs de cartas Gladius relacionadas a los Brawls, no la puedes comprar ni vender, solo jugar con ella o en su contra, pero si la tienes de tu lado es bastante difícil que pierdas.

En esta oportunidad me toco luchar contra ella, y debo decir que fue una batalla épica, un duelo titánico gracias a la intervención de Kain Hace, la más reciente carta agregada al juego. Este monstruo del splinter de muerte llega con una presencia imponente, pareciera absorber el alma de sus rivales o controlar espíritus a placer, además de eso posee 3 puntos de magia para fortalecer más su elemento, sumado a eso tiene +2 de velocidad y 2 puntos de vida. Debido a esto último se hace un poco complejo su uso, pero gracias a sus habilidades se puede aprovechar muy bien. En ese sentido podemos destacar la explosión como habilidad ofensiva y el escudo explosión como habilidad defensiva, la primera de ellas produce daño adyacente a los rivales y la segunda anula el daño recibido por este tipo de ataques.

In this opportunity there were two, the first of them had to do with the same offensive ability of Kain Hace, "explosion", which I will not explain because I did it before, and the second was "equalizer", this is one of the most challenging to use, and this is because we can benefit the opposing team by matching their life to that of one of our most powerful monsters. The ideal is to use cards with useful abilities such as "snake", "heal", etc., and that are low mana, but sometimes as in this particular case it is not so easy to do that because of the explosion, here we have to focus on attacking fast and with everything.

En esta oportunidad fueron dos, la primera de ellas tuvo que ver con la misma habilidad ofensiva de Kain Hace, “explosión”, la cual no explicare porque ya lo hice anteriormente, y la segunda fue “equalizer”, esta es una de las más desafiantes de usar, y esto es porque podemos beneficiar al equipo rival igualando su vida a la de uno de nuestros monstruos más poderosos. Lo ideal es usar cartas con habilidades útiles como “snake”, “heal”, etc., y que sean de bajo mana, pero en ocasiones como en este caso particular no es tan sencillo hacer eso debido a la explosión, aquí tenemos que concentrarnos en atacar rápido y con todo.

Taking into account the combat scenario, I decided to use death, I did this because there was a high probability that my opponent would use earth, and indeed it was so, I ended up using this element. My summoner was Owster, in the first position Cursed Windeku to counter the physical attack with his thorns, in the second position the powerful Kain, this I did to cancel any adjacent damage due to the explosion, in the third position the mage Revealer, in the fourth Cabalist, in the 5th my dear Lira the dark and in the last position Magi Necrosi. This was my team to face this combat that had Quora as the main enemy, the real challenge was about to begin.
Teniendo en cuenta el escenario de combate, me decante por usar muerte, esto lo hice porque había gran probabilidad de que mi rival usara tierra, y en efecto fue asi, termino por usar dicho elemento. Mi invocador fue Owster, en la primera posición Cursed Windeku para contraatacar el ataque físico con sus espinas, en la segunda posición el poderoso Kain, esto lo hice para anular cualquier daño adyacente debido a la explosión, en la tercera posición el mago Revealer, en la cuarta Cabalist, en la 5ta mi querida Lira the dark y en la última posición Magi Necrosi. Este fue mi equipo para afrontar este combate que tenía a Quora como enemigo principal, el verdadero desafío estaba por comenzar.

Battle Link

The battle itself was extremely exciting, honestly I liked it a lot, the main reason was because I could eliminate Quora for the first time, and another reason was because I could notice a jewel in the rival team, a card that caught my attention, although it seemed "useless" when I saw it for the first time some time ago, I have to confess that I was delighted after seeing how it worked, so possibly I will be doing a review of it later. The combat was a real war, excessive power and fireworks on both sides, the strategies used were very good, both mine and my opponent's, fighting against Quora requires strong counterattacks, and that's where I focused, in each turn I did a lot of damage until I managed to eliminate it in the third round, when I did it I was very happy, I could finally do it, however there was another threat that I had to neutralize, at the end of the day that card was the one that hurt me the most and was also the main reason why my opponent got the victory in the sixth turn. How unfortunate really, I defeated that beast but I lost the fight, even so it was very gratifying. To conclude I will leave you some scenes of this epic battle.
La batalla en si fue sumamente emocionante, honestamente me gustó mucho, la principal razón fue porque pude eliminar a Quora por primera vez, y otra de las razones fue porque pude notar una joya en el equipo rival, una carta que llamo bastante mi atención, aunque me pareció “inservible” cuando la vi por primera vez hace un tiempo, tengo que confesar que quede encantado luego de ver su funcionamiento, asi que posiblemente estaré haciendo una review de ella más adelante. El combate fue una auténtica guerra, poder desmedido y fuegos artificiales por ambos bandos, las estrategias utilizadas fueron muy buenas, tanto la mía como la de mi rival, luchar contra Quora requiere de contraataques fuertes, y allí me enfoque, en cada turno le hacía bastante daño hasta que logre eliminarla en la tercera ronda, cuando lo hice me alegre mucho, al fin pude hacerlo, sin embargo había otra amenaza que tenía que neutralizar, al final de cuentas esa carta fue la que más daño me hizo y también fue la razón principal por la que mi rival obtuvo la victoria en el sexto turno. Que lamentable realmente, vencí a esa bestia pero perdí la pelea, aun asi fue muy gratificante. Para concluir te dejare algunas escenas de esta épica batalla.

Tremenda batalla, Quora es de lo mejor, pero ante la presencia de Kain Hace pudo sucumbir, pero igual perdiste jajaja.

Jajaja, cuando Quora murió mi rival sintió el verdadero terror, y yo por otro lado mucho alivio, sin embargo ese Shaman de tierra me acabo a varios de un solo golpe con ese recharge...quedé 🥴
