Life is full of ups and downs.

Sing a song of people walking fast or slow. People in the city up and down they go.

This was a poem song I read in primary 5. See, people walk up and down with their clothes on. Some with their hats. Some people dress gorgeously, looking exceptional in their attire, while some wear simple dresses and move around. What I'm saying here is "Clothes cover people's pain, agony, penury, disappointment, heartbreak, sickness, illness" and so on. But we all move and live our lives like nothing is disturbing us

Most musicians compose songs with respect to what they are passing through, what they do, or probably what is happening around them. I don't know if anyone has noticed that. If you have searched through the story of some songwriters, you would see why they composed their songs the way they do. If you can't do that, pick a pen and a piece of paper and try to write down 20 lines of a song. You would notice that it would reflect what you are passing through or what you wish/love and more. You must be inspired by something

The lyrics of songs matter a lot. When we listen to music, I believe it's to soothe our heart, soul, body, and spirit. To relieve us of pain, and make us feel calm, and sometimes groove. But in the case of "GLOOMY SUNDAY", it was a different story

The song was written in 1932 by a Hungarian named Rezso Seress. It was said that he composed the song, not because of heartbreak but because he felt there is injustice. But the confusing part is that the lyrics didn't depict injustice. It's a sad lyric that talks about joining a dead lover

News had it that 100 people committed suicide while listening to the song. Even the composer's girlfriend also committed suicide. All these were not ascertained 100%, but there's always an iota of truth in every rumor

After 35 years of releasing the song, Reszo Seress committed suicide by jumping from a storey building

Now, if all the stories of people committing suicide were forged, what about his own that was real

I've cultivated the habit of listening to songs that would lift my spirit when I'm depressed. Don't listen to songs that would make you more depressed when you are not in the correct mood

We are passing through a lot as humans, and all we need is motivation. The right motivation can lift us from our problems

Let's be careful of whom we listen to. Some people's intervention into our matters can lead us astray

I wonder why this would make people commit suicide. Lol. Maybe there's something hidden we do not know or what do you think?

Thanks for reading.

This ckole the laughing gas

One love
